Hicks better be coming in. We have dodged some bullets this game. That has to be near the highest pitch count of any starter in the league. Scherzer might be the only one who may thrown more.

I think there’s more pressure on the pen to hold a 1-0 lead than than letting Waino come out and at least start the 9th.

With Hicks, it always boils down to control. If he’s got it, he will get it done. Control can also mean wild in the zone. No fat ones on 0-2 or 1-2 count.
