I really kinda hoped that the Brewers would falter again today!
Maybe the Rox have a comeback in them.
But as long as we can hold this lead… or tag on more… I’m a happy camper!!!!!
Ha! You’re right Dave…..I guess a win is still a win. I’m not trying to be obtuse, but I really want to pelt these guys but good today. I initially wanted a 9-0 thrashing, but now the boys have me spoiled rotten and I’m thinking 14-0 would make me a happy camper.
Flaherty has 53 pitches through 6. Let him finish it if he can with that efficiency

Pull him after the seventh. The Scrubs aren’t gonna score 9 runs in two innings, even if Miller is in there.
You certainly don’t want Flaherty to get hurt or throw too much today, but I’m pretty sure he won’t pitch Game 1 of the NLDS even if you pull him early. He would be on normal rest for Game 2, so I doubt Shildt pulls him super early today.
He’s at 53 pitches after 6 innings. I wouldn’t be surprised if the let him go up to 70 or so pitches today. That would still be on the light side given he’d be on normal rest for Game 2.

They need to put vertical cameras at the base of the foul poles pointing straight up.

I realize hes pitching game 2 regardless but you don’t want to risk a injury like a comebacker or something freakish like that.
