stlcard25ParticipantFowler getting some pretty good pitches to hit. We could really use a big hit here.
He grounds out. 6-3 now.
April 15, 2019 at 7:41 pm #87518Martinez' career ERA at Miller Park = 2.85.

stlcard25ParticipantWithout Martinez, this rotation just isn’t good enough to win the NL Central or the playoffs without some kind of miracle turn the clock back season by Waino or Wacha.

stlcard25ParticipantHudson getting squeezed here. C’mon, ump!
April 15, 2019 at 7:49 pm #87521If O’Neill has to be DL’d then Munoz will be the call.
The throw before was god awful. The throw after was on line but a tad short.
April 15, 2019 at 7:56 pm #87522Robinson sucks. Strikes out way too often.
April 15, 2019 at 7:59 pm #87523Robinson is a career .201 hitter.
WHY DID WE TRADE FOR HIM?????????

April 15, 2019 at 8:01 pm #87524If Dakota Hudson cannot get left handed hitters out on a regular and consistent basis he doesn’t need to start. His splits are a pile of manure.
April 15, 2019 at 8:03 pm #87525
stlcard25ParticipantWell, that was a weird play by Arcia. Opens the door for Carp to drive in a run or three.
April 15, 2019 at 8:05 pm #87526
stlcard25ParticipantWell, he looks at strike 3 and now it’s up to Goldy to bring us closer. The Brew Crew are going to the pen.
April 15, 2019 at 8:05 pm #87527Got to watch yesterday’s big win at one of St Louis’ fine gaming establishments. But not sure about today, looking bad for the good guys. Is it just me or are our guys swinging late on 92 mph pitches? Peralta is a pitcher we should use for BP. And agree with previous comment about pitching to Yelich — why? Take a higher percentage chance with the next batter, in most cases.

stlcard25ParticipantAlbers reminds me of Broxton. Maybe the Cards can trade for him in a few years.
I do see he doesn’t get the Dakota Hudson treatment. That’s a nice zone for him.
April 15, 2019 at 8:10 pm #87529
stlcard25ParticipantWow. What a horrendous call. That ball missed his bat by at least 6″.
April 15, 2019 at 8:14 pm #87530Ron “I Can Do Whatever I Want” Kulpa is on par with Cowboy Joe West and Angel Hernandez as being the worst umpire in MLB.
April 15, 2019 at 8:18 pm #87531We should have kept Wisdom. He might have made contact on a couple of the pitches right down the middle.
April 15, 2019 at 8:23 pm #87532This umpire squeezed Hudson during the Brewers big inning. Then put Carp in the hole calling the suddenly now strikes.
April 15, 2019 at 8:35 pm #87537Robinson can’t pull the trigger. 2 K’s tonight! Golden Sombrero candidate. lol
April 15, 2019 at 8:52 pm #87546
stlcard25ParticipantThe bases are full of Cardinals with mighty Goldy coming to the plate. The Brewers are bringing in a righty. Here’s the chance get right back in it.
April 15, 2019 at 8:55 pm #87547
stlcard25ParticipantWild pitch scores a run as Kulpa takes a pitch off the noggin.
April 15, 2019 at 8:56 pm #87548Again, I think we need another lefty out of the pen. Go with 3 lefties when we play the Brewers including Webb. Lefties seem to negate some of their power.
April 15, 2019 at 9:13 pm #87549Why didn’t they send the runner on a medium fly to center? Wth?
April 15, 2019 at 9:17 pm #87550New game 6-6 in the sixth. Fowler is 2-for-3 and scored the last run. His season average is up to .250, up from .154 a week ago. Progress.
April 15, 2019 at 9:18 pm #87551Good hitting by Goldy and Ozuna. Tie ball game, now who’s got the best pen? Mayer’s, one pitch, one out. Good start.
April 15, 2019 at 9:23 pm #87552How stupid do you have to be to keep letting one guy beat you again and again and again and again . . . ????
There’s stubborn . . . and then there’s stupid.
April 15, 2019 at 9:24 pm #87554Hard to believe.
