bader got to fight that off, though that was a great pitch an dbader couldn’t have been looking for it.

It’s a rule. Walk the first batter and make trouble for yourself.

Last few outings, Martinez throws a lot of easy takes when he gets ahead. He just K’d Garcia, two more to go. Zobrist up now.

I simply do not believe this. We have struggled to hit. But, we have taken the Cubs in Wrigley in three straight one-run games, two by pitching.

What a ninth inning! 2 HRs. Cmart effective. Hope tomorrow isn’t a rainout.

well I think even should we lose tomorrow, unless we just fall off a cliff, the cubbies aren’t catching us. might as well put them out of their misery and keep them out of the playoffs.

Wow, close game, glad we came out on top. Great to see our bats wake up today, pitching looked good overall. Congratulations on a good team win. Few rough spots but hangun’ together produces the Win! Go Cardinals!

It seems like our bats come alive more when our pitching is off that day.

That was sweet seeing CMart blow Baez out of the box. So fitting in the windy city. Speaking of windy, Bill Welke blows.

That’s exactly what I thought Mr. Walton, Sir! Haight Ashbury here he comes. That’s San Francisco in case anybody wants to know.

Three HUGE, HUGE wins. Cubs are just about done for the Central. Six games out with seven to go and probably three behind Milwaukee after tonight for the wild card.

Funny, I didn’t watch any of these three games. I never posted either. I’ve always felt my teams do better when I am not watching. This weekend that has held true. I won these games for the Cards.
