Wouldn’t mind slipping her the high hard One!

stlcard25ParticipantHow did the Cards not challenge the Dejong play? He looked easily safe.
August 27, 2019 at 7:03 pm #104001I wonder if the Cards have considered starting Muñoz instead of Carp?
August 27, 2019 at 7:05 pm #104002After further thought, no offense intended…I don’t want to get in any trouble with Brian and UCONN here…its just after viewing the pic, I think if you were pitching to Amy, that you could successfully bust her inside….put a better way…..Amy would be very vulnerable to the fast inside pitches due to her large breasts.

stlcard25ParticipantMikolas not looking good so far tonight. He needs a double play ball here.

stlcard25ParticipantI wonder if the Cards have considered starting Muñoz instead of Carp?
Carp 87 wRC+, 80 in 2nd half
Muñoz 73 wRC+, 58 in 2nd halfAmazingly, Muñoz is probably a downgrade and he has looked awful lately.

stlcard25ParticipantSituational fail for Mikolas. With the pitcher coming up, Arcia shouldn’t have seen a pitch within a half foot of the plate.
August 27, 2019 at 7:24 pm #104006Stlcard25- those stats are for half a season, bet the storys much different if you check it for the last 6 wks, since he came back. Munozs been swinging at pitches out of the zone lately though. Last night pitches over the top.
That pitch Accia rbi on was thrown fastball, only 92mph right down the pipe
Jeez can’t be doing that!August 27, 2019 at 7:32 pm #104007

Since he came back Aug 4, Carpenter is at 95 wRC+ and Munoz has 9 plate appearances and a 132 wRC+. So I suppose there’s a small case there. He had a -9 wRC+ from the AS Break to Aug 3.
August 27, 2019 at 7:40 pm #104008Darn twin killings are killing us!
August 27, 2019 at 7:43 pm #104009Just thinking out loud here, I wonder if a team has ever hit into 9 double plays in a regulation game before? Might be a good question to pose to Skippy and our good friends over at the esteemed Elias Sports Bureau.
August 27, 2019 at 7:56 pm #104012Housers been real good just lately Pugs. Maybe he’ll get tired. Got to keep working up his pitch count. Mikolas is doing pretty good too huh?
August 27, 2019 at 8:01 pm #104016Hey Pugs I had Taco Salad toinght. Did you have a big Brat yet?
August 27, 2019 at 8:02 pm #104017Yadi ties it with a HR. Carp narrowly missed a HR, but is on first because he sucks at base running and doesn’t have his head where it needs to be. Then Bader gets a single where Carp should’ve scored had he been on 2B, but instead he gets thrown out at 3B. Reason being, again, is because he sucks at base running. My goodness, he’s been awful this year.

The record is seven.
August 27, 2019 at 8:12 pm #104020Should have been 2-1 with Mikolas batting, but Carp makes two base running errors between 1st and 3rd. Misses 1st base completely and has to backtrack then gets thrown out at 3rd because he misread the outfielder’s play. That’s really bad, needless to say. I hope they put a mic in front of him after this game. Better be some mea culpas coming.
August 27, 2019 at 8:21 pm #104021Carp makes two base running errors . . . . I hope they put a mic in front of him after this game. Better be some mea culpas coming.
I hope Wong can come back tomorrow so Carp can be buried at the end of the bench. To say he is a terrible baserunner is an insult to terrible baserunners at all levels of baseball. That was two mindless mistakes in a matter of minutes and likely cost the Cards the lead.
August 27, 2019 at 8:26 pm #104022Mikolas came to play tonight. Hope some others will join him soon. That’s a nice 6 IP. At least he’s made it a bullpen game, where the Cards should have the edge.
August 27, 2019 at 8:32 pm #104023
stlcard25ParticipantYadi!!!
August 27, 2019 at 8:32 pm #104024Okay, Yadi came to play too. Cards lead 3-1.
August 27, 2019 at 8:34 pm #104025Old guy shows the youngsters how to do it!
August 27, 2019 at 8:40 pm #104026Yadi goes yard again and makes it 3-1, and now the game gets delayed because it’s raining and the roof is open. Not a good night for the Brewers’ org all the way around. You can’t make this stuff up ! Ha!
August 27, 2019 at 8:42 pm #104027
stlcard25ParticipantWell, that’s weird. You’d think they’d have planned a bit better than that.
August 27, 2019 at 8:42 pm #104028Wow, wonder if anybody brought their umbrellas in there?
August 27, 2019 at 8:45 pm #104029The dome operator must have been looking for Amy.
