Bader does come through with a double to drive in two more. 8-0.
August 26, 2019 at 6:56 pm #103842
stlcard25ParticipantBader with the GR double for two more! 8-0!!
August 26, 2019 at 6:57 pm #103843This is fun to watch
August 26, 2019 at 6:59 pm #103844YOWZA! Lookin’ good. Off to a great start. Keep that pitchin’ goin’ Waino!
August 26, 2019 at 7:05 pm #103845Could Fowler have gone any slower after Thames’ “triple” in the corner?
August 26, 2019 at 7:14 pm #103847
stlcard25ParticipantLooks like Moose is out of the game. Would be a bad loss for the Brewers if he misses any time.
August 26, 2019 at 7:28 pm #103850
stlcard25ParticipantThankfully the offense showed up early tonight because Waino hasn’t been very sharp. He’ll be lucky to get through 5 at this rate. He does get Braun out on a hard hit to the track to end the 3rd.
August 26, 2019 at 7:35 pm #103853
stlcard25ParticipantYadi bomb!! 9-1 Cards
August 26, 2019 at 7:37 pm #103854Ump calls DeJong out on pitches below his knees. Yadi belts a dinger on the next pitch. Take that you rascal!
August 26, 2019 at 7:47 pm #103858
stlcard25ParticipantThis game is basically a staring contest right now…the Brewers and Cards both trying to limp their starter as long as possible to save the bullpens for the rest of the series.
August 26, 2019 at 7:48 pm #103859Great game gsng!!! Wish you guys were here asthe wifey isnt too fun here….go El Capistrano el Birdos!
August 26, 2019 at 7:51 pm #103860
stlcard25ParticipantUnbelievably, Waino is about to pass up Gio for pitches in the game. Gant is warming up. Gotta be better than that, Waino.
August 26, 2019 at 7:53 pm #103861Yeah I love wainwright and glad we’re winning a lot of his starts lately but I don’t know if I can watch this for another year
August 26, 2019 at 7:54 pm #103862
stlcard25ParticipantMajor fail for Wainwright tonight. Now we are wasting our bullpen before they are and we have had an 8 run lead for most of the game.
Gant has been bad lately so hopefully we don’t see the Brewers cut into the lead anymore.
August 26, 2019 at 7:55 pm #103863Be Happy you don’t have to listen to the announcers, Pugs. I finally gave up and muted my TV.
August 26, 2019 at 7:57 pm #103864Waino did ok but ran outa gas. Pugs are you at the game? I had beef stroganoff and corn on the cob tonight!
August 26, 2019 at 8:00 pm #103865Walking batters with this big a lead is bad. Tough night for Wainwright not to make it out of the 4th. Hopefully the pen is up for another one.
August 26, 2019 at 8:00 pm #103866
stlcard25ParticipantI’m not certain the Brewers have swung at a single pitch out of the zone tonight. Well, until that high pitch to Yelich. Yelich walks anyway. Brewers could be right back in it with one swing.
August 26, 2019 at 8:01 pm #103868Now Gant walks Yelich. I guess you sort of understand that one, but all these walks with a big lead is just begging for an epic comeback here.
August 26, 2019 at 8:03 pm #103869
stlcard25ParticipantGant gets the flare for the final out. Geez, it shouldn’t be this difficult. Hopefully the Cards can smack the Brewers’ bullpen around the rest of the night.
August 26, 2019 at 8:03 pm #103870Whew, Gant gets the big out and strands the bases. Lead still big at 9-2.
August 26, 2019 at 8:05 pm #103872Wooster Waino did okay? That was a horrible start. We have way to many starts that don’t get through 6. Going to wear the bullpen out.
August 26, 2019 at 8:12 pm #103873
stlcard25ParticipantBraun with the leaping catch at the wall to end the 5th. Gio gets 1-1/3 innings more than Waino with basically nothing to go on. The Cards should win this game, but the Brewers might have won the battle of attrition that could be big in the next two.
August 26, 2019 at 8:15 pm #103874Agree Card25, need Gant to get through a couple more.
August 26, 2019 at 8:15 pm #103875They got 2 runs. They left Gino in and we got 6 in the second inning. I wouldn’t have left him in . Milwaukees bullpen is wore out. We’re ahead by 7. Tommy almost got that dinger. 10 ft short!
