Fans booing like JoJo wanted to plunk the leadoff batter in this situation. Every one of those Philly fans who were just booing have a baseball IQ under 12……unless they were drunk of course….and with it being in Philadelphia, I bet at least 90% of those fans that just booed have at least 8 brewskis under their belt.
BikeMike, Gorman seems to get under a lot of pitches. He is making a lot better swing decisions and putting the bat on the ball, but just getting under the ball too much leading to weak fly outs.
Yeah – I am a little late to the party. Helped the Lovely Lady Bike with dinner – which by the way was a creamy spinich chicken with mashed parsnips on the side, and tossed salad. Plain old water to drink.
Great job by JoJo in the 7th. This would be a tremendous victory. It would demonstrate a heck of a lot of spunk to win this type of ballgame in this place against this kind of team. Gang? I think we have ourselves a team this year. Now get McGreevy up here and one of either Walker or Gorman finally getting it together and this could be a very special season.

Oh no……Winn pulled that long would be homer just foul…..but now he laces an rbi base hit with 1 out…..10-7….that was a huge run….just one more would be just what the doctor ordered.
Just tuned in tv. Missed first game but listening to second on my way home from fishing. Caught some nice smallies and the boys are all the way back from a 5 run first. Doesn’t get much better.
Didn’t get a chance to tune in to the second game until just now…Great work from the pitching staffs of both teams in the first game and then all hell breaks loose…Haha!
After trailing 5-1, this would be a dream come true if this ended up being a “call off the dogs” game.

Thought Arenado had a three-run shot for a minute there. Gotta take advantage of the miscue here. That muff by Marsh looked like some of the guys in the old man’s softball league I am playing in. 😀
