Scott is paying his dues vs LH pitchers, and he has seen plenty of them this week. Every day duty, along with lefties Noot and Donny, while Burly and Gorman ride the pine vs southpaws. Well, here’s a cherry picked opportunity for both, vs a righty.
I don’t know, Rat? I don’t think anyone in that Cardinal dugout will be satisfied with leaving Pennsylvania with only one win under their belt. Getting swept in a doubleheader is demoralizing. Let’s kick a little Phillie keester in Game 2 and skip town with smiles on our faces. Din-din tonight will be baked cod, baked potato, baked beans and some Dutch apple pie that the neighbors nicely dropped off last night. I think I’ll slap a huge scoop of Breyers vanilla bean on it’s top for good measure……and good eating.

5 games on this present road trip and the home team has only scored 7 total runs against us. Palmer-Cuellar-Dobson & McNally would be proud owners of those stats.
Nooty laces a single to center to get things cooking in the Cardinal 1st. Wow a lot of empty seats tonight…..prime conditions to snatch a foul ball….now Winn rips a base hit and on the unsuccessful throw to 3rd, Winn will scamper safely into 2nd….sweet start!

Ouch! Castellanos smacks one high off the center field wall for a 2 run double. Now a Kepler single to right plates Castellanos and just like that it’s 3-1 Philly.
Ha! The Rusty decision has been rendered….thanks JJ…..oh no now Realmuto drills a 2 run bomb and now we’re looking at a 5-1 deficit. Still early we can get these guys yet.

Gorman HAS to start getting it together. Maybe he needs a change of scenery to get rolling, as it’s not happening for him here. I still wouldn’t just give him away though.
