Knock on wood but Miles has pitched a pretty fair game thus far.

Mikolas with 6 innings, 2 runs on 7 hits and a walk tonight. We’ll take that line any day. Now go get ‘em pen.

Miles sets them down in one pretty little 1-2-3 chorus line in the 6th. Time to tack on a couple runs in the 7th.

I thought Walker was faster than what he displayed on his leadoff double….fast or not you gotta love the guy.

I didn’t get to watch today, but Baker was 3 for 4 with a double and homer as Memphis won behind a good start by Robberse.

Boy Siani is a little light at the dish…..can’t waste this leadoff double or the momentum switches a bit towards the home team.

I know I’m old fashioned but Scott should have been bunting there imo! He could have beaten it out or at least moved the runner! We already struggle to score with runners in scoring position! Seems like a wasted at bat to me!

I like this move by Ollie. Let Gio take their best hitters and maybe we won’t see them again.

Marmol has to use Scott or Siani to move Walker along there. Turrible,

Any, why even let Siani hit in that spot – PH for him, move Donavan to LF and bring Gorman in at 2B…

I’m really not all that certain that the 3 defensive switches made our defense all that much better. But ok.

ZTR, you speak the truth! Another bit of mismanagement there IMO!

Me too Steve. We’re likely better off manufacturing a run by small ball, with the bottom of the order, than swinging away.

I like the bunt too in that situation but the issue was Darvish is throwing that nasty splitter that is hard to bunt. So I understand that side too.

Why on earth would he do anything at all that seemed to make sense?

Sweet DP gets Gallegos and the Birds out of a 7th inning pickle.

Looking ahead to the bottom of the 8th in this very tight ballgame…..John King anybody?

    I’d rather stick with Gio.
