I am not counting on Flaherty for anything. There is no predictable outcome for a bum shoulder. He may or may not pitch, and with unknown effectiveness.
I agree bling, I think that’s why they went ahead and gave Hicks a chance.

Jack Flaherty threw 25 pitches to hitters (Nootbaar, Herrera) today, used his whole mix. Marmol said the session went well. #stlcards will have him repeat that a couple times before sending him out on a rehab.

I wish I had seen Flaherty’s start last night. Stats were great. I wonder what the time table of his return is? 2 more rehab starts? Also curious what 40 man roster move will be made for him?
This does not assess quality of player, but the Cardinals have been relatively injury free to date this season.
