Kind of a gamble for a player who has never played a MLB game. The Brewers must really trust their talent evaluators. Not only the skill level of the player but the mental makeup of the player. Will a 19 year old player stay motivated after receiving $80M?

    Nice pick up for Milwaukee.

    Seems like an over pay.

Depends on who is answering. Before the off-season, MLB Trade Rumors predicted Hoskins would get 2/$36MM. So MIL is paying $1MM less per year.

The Central is in danger of beating the wild card out of each other.

Ortiz is ranked #63, one ahead of Tink Hence in the MLB Pipeline topp 100.

Seems a bit light on the return for Burnes, but then he will be in his walk year and the Crew needed to get something.

The NLC is going to be a sad division. I can see the Pirates taking a leap with Cruz coming back, and being the surprise division champ.

A reminder that he is likely out all of 2024.

The Brewers are indestructible. No Counsell, no Burnes, no Woodruff, no Williams no problem. They will probably cruise along without Yelich too.

They do a great job of taking the average player and getting the maximum out of their ability! I wish we were as good at it as they are!
