I’ve got to take Ragsdale at 9. I like him best of the rest because he played 60 games at AA and stayed healthy. I see him leading off, hitting 20 homers, and stealing 40 bases. His defense is good too from what I’ve seen. Although Peete may push him to left. I just don’t remember having this many good prospects, and many of them at AA. This has been the most fun participation of any of our Community rankings.

25 I would help you with Cjintje if I can get Fajardo and I have him right afterwards

Former No. 1 pick by Mariners. Ambidextrous, but better from the right side. He’s ready for some big league innings, or the centerpiece of a blockbuster trade.

    Bob-

I’m here primarily for long winded posts filled with statistical minutiae, so your offer might lead me to vote for someone else!

    9. Fajardo again

I like all these votes here except Ragsdale. All these others are close enough to go in any order including Hjerpe and Jesus Baez who we just voted in. I like Fajardo as more of a sure thing than the others. If he were guaranteed to stay healthy, Hjerpe is the most sure thing of them. But health is a big question mark for him. Peete is looking better and better every day. And Condon of course has gobs and gobs of upside. The only one who hasn’t been voted for yet that I also have in this group is Kuhns. I haven’t seen him pitch yet, but super excited based on everything I’ve read.

Any more Baez’ left on the board? If not then Bobby’s offer is too good to pass up.

Sebastian Alessandro Dos Santos @ #9 por favor, Senor stlcard25.

Omg, Peete and Roby have had a great AFL. Where do they fit on our roster next year? Roby has a chance to make the rotation while Peete has to get a taste of AAA.

    Pugs asked:

There is one more but he has only reached the FCL. Jarol Báez – RHP.
Maybe we can pick up another one if they have the International signings this January! LOL!

I hope we can call them the Baez Bash brothers.

The weakness beyond that is how aggression. He would really need to double his walk rate at a minimum to reach the heights that many have hoped for him, but it’s hard to imagine that happening.

I think that 5.6% BB% is offset by the low 16% K-rate, even with the poor chase rate.

One player not mentioned yet is Frias. He had more RBIs than games played in the rookie level. Scouts are very high on him. He should be considered seriously very soon. All of a sudden we have a lot of utfield prospects.

I will vote for SDS at nine, but I would appreciate more posts from Bob Reed rather than fewer.

I love it when Bob posts very detailed information. He usually gives us a heads up on a player ascending. I think that is what all of us want, a prospect showing improvement and eventually helping the big club.

I like dos Santos but Rainiel sucked up all the teen top ten oxygen. Lucky Fijardo turned 20. If he was 3 weeks younger i would have had to vote for somebody else.

If my math is correct it looks like a tie between Condon and Fajardo, although Dos Santos and Cijntje aren’t far behind.

It’s funny to me that by now we usually we have a drop off in prospect potential. I don’t feel that here. In fact, there are 4 or 5 more that you have to split hairs deciding.

I like both Condon and Fajardo. They are both firmly in my Top 10.

I don’t see how you can’t like Baez’ low strikeout rate and 39 homers. Players with low on base percentage and high home run rate are not invaluable. And how about Baez’ improvement at Springfield. No one talks about that.
