It’s never easy, but it wouldn’t surprise me too much if the Dodger bats detonate early while facing the RH’er Mahle. With all kinds of genuine LH’ed firepower in today’s Dodger lineup, in my estimation, there’s a decent chance that Mahle could resemble poor Jerry Quarry before they stop the fight.
October 7, 2026 at 3:45 pm #320632All four series on tap today – that’s more like it. And all four can wrap up. Sox and Guards, Yanks and Rays would be sweeps if they end today. NL series’ a bit more competitive so far.
October 7, 2026 at 4:02 pm #320634Cleveland just hit the WhiteSox with a 4 spot in the top of the 3rd.
It’s 4-1 Indians now.
October 7, 2026 at 4:07 pm #320635Adell delivers the 2 out bases jammed 3 RBI triple in the visitor half of the 3rd inning in CHI to possibly save the Indian’s season and force them to cancel their tee-time reservations.
October 7, 2026 at 4:12 pm #320636And after being handed a 3 run lead, Griffin promptly plunks the lead off batter in the home half of the 3rd inning to place Antonacci aboard at 1B with 0 outs.
October 7, 2026 at 4:30 pm #320637There’s no quit in these White Sox as Meidroth begins the home half of the 4th inning with a lead-off double. I hadn’t seen them play before the the start of the post-season, but these White Sox have been an impressive baseball team in these first 2 rounds.
October 7, 2026 at 4:36 pm #320638Now Peters trades places with Meidroth at 2B as he follows up with an RBI double to trim the Indian’s lead to 4-2. Still 0 outs with Montgomery standing in.
October 7, 2026 at 4:39 pm #320639Griffin K’s Montgomery for the 1st out and now Veneble goes to his BP to call on the RH’er Armstrong to face Grichuk.
October 7, 2026 at 4:41 pm #320640Armstrong with the nice work to escape the home half of the 4th with the Indians still holding a 4-2 lead.
October 7, 2026 at 4:48 pm #320642I just now noticed that the Indians don’t have anyone on their team who’s collected more than 18 HR’s this season. I think I see Whitey on the top step of their dugout…

October 7, 2026 at 4:50 pm #320645CLE threatening again in the visitor half of the 5th inning with basrunners aboard at 1B and 2B and 1 out.
October 7, 2026 at 4:55 pm #320647The Indians tack on a run to restore their 3 run lead as this game heads to the home half of the 5th inning. I hope all 4 of these LDS go to an all or nothing 5th game.
October 7, 2026 at 5:23 pm #320648There’s more combatants being hit in this 6th inning than at an Ali-Foreman fight.
October 7, 2026 at 5:38 pm #320650Dubon with the oven mitt at SS and the Das Boot as the Dodgers tie it up in the visitor half of the 2nd at 1 apiece.
October 7, 2026 at 6:34 pm #320662Those Indians aren’t going down without a fight as they go on the warpath in CHI with a 9-3 W over the White Sox. It’s never easy, but even the Rockies can win 2 in a row.
October 7, 2026 at 7:27 pm #320664Andy Griffith Pages just singled to center with two outs and the bases loaded in the top of the 7th.
3-1 Doyers as we head to stretch time at Turner Field in Atlanta.
October 7, 2026 at 7:35 pm #320666Those 2 out RBI’s are murder on the opposition. My favorite variety…
October 7, 2026 at 8:01 pm #320667And now Muncy annihilates a 3-2 pitch from Iglesias as he really turns on it to rip a solo tater over the RF wall and extend the Dodger 9th inning lead to 4-1. He destroyed that belt high FB. Max may be the most underpaid player in the game right now.
October 7, 2026 at 8:07 pm #320668And the Dodgers become the first team to advance to the LCS with a 4-1 W over the Braves in ATL. What else is new?
October 7, 2026 at 8:10 pm #320669Well, now, when you send a Cy Young Award winner out to the mound almost every game that sure makes winning at least a little easier.
October 7, 2026 at 8:18 pm #320670Glasnow took the turn in today’s game, Rats, but that Yamamoto guy is the proverbial ice man. Right now there’s no one in the game I’d rather have take the baseball for game 7. He’s got total command of about 40 or 50 different pitches…
October 7, 2026 at 8:29 pm #3206721982 willie
ParticipantWatching the yankees game right now. They need a better hitting coach. These guys esp if they get a runner on instantly go to swinging at bad pitches and trying to pull the ball. Usually end up just hitting it right into the ground. Rice seems to be the only that actually knows how to hit.
October 7, 2026 at 8:44 pm #320673Yep Rat, the young Cuban national, Andy Pages ( properly pronounced “An-dee Pah-hez”) with the decisive blow, a 7th inning blistering 2 run single to center to propel the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers to the NLCS with a date with Milwaukee’s upstart Brewer squad. Should be a dandy of a series.
October 7, 2026 at 8:44 pm #320674I’m really surprised that the Dodgers were somehow able to advance to the NLCS with Little Eddie going 0 for 7 in the NLDS…If they’re going to achieve the trifecta, he’s going to have to start ripping the baseball and compliment his sidekick, Big Freddie.
