    #40 Yaxson Lucena
    #41 Noah Mendlinger
    #42 Miguel Hernandez

Lucena walked 50% more often than he struck out, posted a 141 OPS+ with a reasonable repeatable .323 BABIP, reportedly plays a solid right field, and finally, took one for the team 10 times in 42 games, so he’s tough. Add it up, and that’s a .442 OBP guy with good gap power, who was a bit young for his league — and offers contributions beyond his bat. Yeah, it was the DSL. That’s why he’s top 40 instead of top 20.

    40. Kross (my 31)
    41. Holiday (my 34)
    42. Rajcic (my 35)

I have Graham, Watson, Burns, Ellisalt, and Brandt Thompson all in this same range. Kind of a toss-up. After that I’ll get to some DSL guys but by the looks of things I will never make it that far.

I can’t believe Love has fallen this far down. He has mid 90s fastball and a plus slider. He had the 3rd best era of all relievers AT AA and AAA. Nice strikeout rate and low batting average against. I would take him ahead of Gastulem.

And I am not high on Honeyman. He has yet to put up good numbers I know at this point it’s all a crapshoot and opinions. And he seems very brittle.

I missed that Cade Winquest has not been voted for and skipped him over in my rankings for Royel Strop.

Can I change my #42 at this point to Cade Winquest?

Yes, since it’s you Albert, no problem. But let this be a reminder for us all to keep our eye on the ball…..or on the board in this case. Thank you very much.

We have 39 prospects now. Brian and Kyle have 35 to go. 4 of our top 39 have already been ranked by Brian and Kyle (Gurevitch–our 27 to their 3; Dos Santos–our 32 to their 40; Molina–our 29 to their 45; Sequera–our 33 to their 46). That means that either their remaining 35 are the other 35 folks we have identified or there is at least one person in our top 39 who is not in their top 50. I’ll be curious to see which of the two it is.

Gagliano – I doubt Rincon, Cho, or Torres are in their top 50.

    40. Yaxson Alberto Lucena
    41. Frank Miguel Ellisalt
    42. Ian Michael “Tippy Toes” Petrutz…..Look for a huge year from Ian in ’26. You’ll see him in Springfield by year’s end. Just do NOT give him the green light on the base paths to attempt any base thefts.
