C27, SDS had a .044 higher SLG and 10 more XBH. At that level I’d take RBI’s with a big ol brick of salt. Also, SDS had more walks than K’s.
The big righty out of Indianapolis, Dutkanavich, just missed making my cut here at selections 31-33. But I’ll most assuredly be calling his name in our next round of prospect picks.

I wonder where Clarke would fit in our top 50 theoretically? I would think 3.
You’ll get a chance to vote for him (and anyone else we add) in a couple weeks.
I feel this is our best quality and quantity our too 50 has been in a long time. We could use more hitting prospects, but our pitching looks solid. Now if we can just develop them. And I have optimism that our injured prospects will re-emerge.

36. Matt Koperniak, OF (my #30). He’s lost a little luster, but he’s still a potential 4th/5th OF or a fill in guy if we trade Nootbaar and go cheap this year. A .300 type hitter everywhere, it will be interesting to see if he goes back to that this year, or if the Cards have convinced him to trade contact for a little more power. He’s a value guy at this slot, IMO.
