40. Jeremy Rivas, IF. Again
41. Mike Antico, OF. Speedy, solid OF glove and has developed a little power over the last couple of years (34 HRs between 2023 and 2024). If he was a righty, I could see him getting a hail Mary as the 5th OF at some point. As is, he’s probably not going to get out of Memphis and maybe will get his cup of tea with some other organization.
42. Nathan Church, OF. Church seems like Antico, only two years ago. So I sort of have to lump them together here before I go into a run of pitchers from the FSL, MWL and TL. The Cards liked Church enough to send him to Arizona, where he hit the ball well. Probably another depth guy in the next couple of years but we will see.

First things first, there are a few players you may think are eligible that are not. I follow rookie eligibility rules for determining what is a prospect. That is 45 days or more on an active roster (time on the injured list does not count), 130 at-bats, or 50 innings pitched. The big player this disqualifies is Victor Scott II, who fails on both days (83 days) and at-bats (145). Just to cover my bases, this also disqualifies Luken Baker and Jose Fermin. New acqusition Ryan Vilade has 51 days, so he’s out. Roddery Munoz too, who has well over 50 innings. Two players I think might actually qualify, but I’m just not putting on the list are Drew Rom (1.044 days) and Riley O’Brien (1.009), and it doesn’t matter anyway because you guys are not voting them on a list.from VEB today#43 Harris

43. Mike Antico, OF. Speed, ok hit tool, ok power. A poor man’s Koperniak, with a little more speed.
44. Nelfry Ynfante, RHP. I probably should have been a little higher on him, in retrospect (props to Jnevel). Was the best starter on a poor FCL team, and pitched well enough at Palm Beach as well. Only 19, he could be the next helium guy, but as with all the youthful arms, it could go any direction.
45. Jose Davila, RHP. Another member of that vaunted Palm Beach rotation, he sort of gets left out. But he was a bonus baby a few years back and has generally pitched well. His July (25 IP, 33K, 0.84 WHIP) was about as good as any month anyone had this year for us, which speaks to his ceiling. He’s still only 22, which gives him a little room to grow. Hopefully the guys at Palm Beach can move up together and give us a great rotation at Peoria and maybe Springfield next year.
46. Inohan Paniagua, RHP. I have him slightly ahead of Ralston due to the fact that I think they’ll provide similar hypothetical value. Paniagua got the nod for the Arizona Fall League this year and pitched decently. He’s got to get moving if he’ll make an impact in St Louis, at 24.
When the community top prospect rankings are over, it would be interesting to see each voters top 50 list. Some will be very interesting to see after seeing comments elsewhere. The whole list gives you a better idea of what individual voters prefer in a prospect.

46. Osvaldo BerriosPaniagua is that prospect I have probably too hopeful for. He has a good frame, but is still so skinny. If he can put on some weight, his stuff will likely improve and he can fill a role at least a middle reliever.
Antico never likely to be more than a depth piece, but he most likely will see some major league ABs in some org when a guy gets hurt and can be a 5th OF.
Berrios is a minors FA pick up who I like. A little old, but he posted good numbers in A+ with good peripherals and has a chance to see some innings at some point as an up down RP.
