Rats – what’s wrong with that lineup? You could argue a couple small tweaks, but overall, that might be the best way it can be optimized.
They have more of a L/R/L/R thing going on. I’d probably just swap Donovan and Contreras and lead off with the 2 lefty on base guys in front of Wilson. Otherwise, you could argue swapping Herrera and Arenado, but I think Herrera will have to earn that first. Right now Winn stinks so he’s hitting last and Scott may stink again so he’s 2nd to last. Overall, it seems like about as good as we can get right now.
St. Louis defeated Memphis, 3-2. Arenado’s three-run HR off Ian Bedell was the difference.
