No, Euro…I thought everyone knew Roy Orbison wrote that song, but he did have help. The angel reference was simply that I’ve heard it said that Orbison taught the angels how to sing and that’s probably right.
I listened to Orbison from the age I was too young to remember, Euro. He was my mom’s favorite to the degree that I sometimes thought my dad was jealous…Haha!
The Redbirds are now 4 games back in the NLC. Last season on the the day before the trade deadline they were…4 games back in the NLC. Of course, they were never once below .500 last season.
Just 3 weeks ago at 10 games back this team looked as though it were precariously close to striking the colors. You have to give them a lot credit for not doing so.
Sandlin gets tagged with the loss and all he did was retire the side in the 10th and fall victim to a SB and a PB…Haha! I’ll also say that it took guts for Donovan to attempt the SB and that Sandlin certainly didn’t check on him. I always complain that no one seems to check on the baserunner anymore, but that SB caught me napping as well…Haha!
