Some of Jacks slider kinda roll up there and others bite hard. He needs that good slider for an out pitch.

Jack worked that inning like he wanted to keep that run.

Yeah, the all or nothing on the slider is glaring and I’ve many times seen him touched up for a hit or even a HR on an 0-2 or 1-2 count when he offers one up of the latter variety.

Bibee can pitch. Spots the 4seamer and a lights out change, with a nice curve

Jack just doesn’t have much to work with. A slider w/iffy command and a fastball they don’t swing and miss at.

If they had a stat for long foul balls, Nado would have about 40 of them this season…

There is a quality start for Jack.

Maybe we can get to their pen. I know I’ve seen enough of Bibee.

Nice to see Flaherty work around that lead-off single. I had a bad feeling when the count went to 3-0 to Gimenez with 1 out.

Only 2 Cardinal hits. Maybe they’ll do better against this guy.

Karincuk looks like a minors guy that doesn’t belong up

Three consecutive BB’s to load ’em up with no outs. I’d be a little spun up if I were a Cleveland fan.

Can we go over the “clutch” and “choke” stats again?

Well, I just saw a starving man refuse a free hot dog.

Yepez can’t cover the outside fastball, he bails too bad.

Three walks to load the bases with no outs, and they can’t score. Talk about choke. That’s embarrassing.

Wouldn’t it be better to simply have Mercado replace Burleson in LF and have Donovan stay put in RF where he’s been situated the entire game?

I guess major leaguers won’t bunt to the right side.

Still only 2 hits through 8. That won’t win many.

Mercado has the run and throw but an iron skillet for a glove

He did the same thing the other day, Euro. Carbon copy on the easy bouncing ball.

Why didn’t Donovan stay put in RF?
