Is that the same famous Bucker with the bad call at first years ago? That called 3rd strike was definitely a ball. Hope its not gonna be one of those nights. Edman let first 2 strikes go bye then swang at a ball. Cmon man!
May 8, 2023 at 7:14 pm #219727I’m a little less than a year past investing a bit over $10K into dental implants. That shot that Buckner took induced me get up and look in the mirror to see my investment was still okay…
May 8, 2023 at 7:18 pm #219728Wisdom, that guy can’t play.
May 8, 2023 at 7:32 pm #219729Mikolas cruising now!
May 8, 2023 at 7:33 pm #219730The 11 HR’s is impressive, but he’s been tapering off. Last 13 games he’s 6 for 39 with 3 RBI’s. He was ripping it up for a while though.
May 8, 2023 at 7:43 pm #219731Mikolas looking like Mikolas tonight!
May 8, 2023 at 7:43 pm #219732Hey Euro you out there?
May 8, 2023 at 8:07 pm #219734Swanson’s a headache on both sides tonight.
May 8, 2023 at 8:09 pm #219735Star power- seems like Mikolas faded fast-needs to work on conditioning.
May 8, 2023 at 8:11 pm #219736Cabreras been good- keeps the ball down. Mikolas got away with a meatball this inning.
May 8, 2023 at 8:13 pm #219737Good rebound Cardinals!
May 8, 2023 at 8:13 pm #219738He was at 96 pitches and you know how they are, Wooster. Anywhere near that century mark and they go out there and get them if they allow even a base hit.

ParticipantJust turned in to see mikolas give up the hit to tie it. Over 90 pitches and he didn’t even go five. That’s rediculous. Mikolas always starts getting tired as he nears n clears 90 pitches. You can talk about guys being able to go over a hundred but history shows some can’t do that. Great throw gets a double play on the sliding player at home. Still tied.
May 8, 2023 at 8:14 pm #219740Cabrera trying to start a fight?
May 8, 2023 at 8:15 pm #21974196 pitches to do 4.1 innings. That is some serious BS.
May 8, 2023 at 8:15 pm #219742Yeah, Wooster, Cabrera’s been effective this season. He had a real nice stretch of work a couple of years ago. Then he started serving up too many taters.
May 8, 2023 at 8:16 pm #219743And I don’t disagree with the pitching change at all. Mikolas was showing fatigue. And a couple long innings.

ParticipantStroman upper 60 pitches through 5, why can’t our guys do that.
May 8, 2023 at 8:19 pm #219745Yeah, Mikolas needed to sit down. High pitch count and he’d been dodging traffic all night.
May 8, 2023 at 8:23 pm #219746Hey Euro you out there?
Just made it back to my TV.
May 8, 2023 at 8:26 pm #219747I’ll take it, but I didn’t think there was any way Wrigley would hold that baseball on to the field of play. Contreras now with 10 doubles on the season. Not too bad.
May 8, 2023 at 8:27 pm #219748Willy with a double off the wall to drive in the 2nd run. Asking for a response from the crowd, haha.
May 8, 2023 at 8:29 pm #219749LOL all that love for Conteras left the stadium when he hit that go ahead double. Glad to hear from ya Euro. Hope Pugs shows back up soon!
May 8, 2023 at 8:30 pm #219750Another starter who can’t even go five innings. A team can’t win that way I don’t care who the manager is. Period.
May 8, 2023 at 8:31 pm #219751Nolan didn’t look like himself there.
