Is that the same famous Bucker with the bad call at first years ago? That called 3rd strike was definitely a ball. Hope its not gonna be one of those nights. Edman let first 2 strikes go bye then swang at a ball. Cmon man!

I’m a little less than a year past investing a bit over $10K into dental implants. That shot that Buckner took induced me get up and look in the mirror to see my investment was still okay…

The 11 HR’s is impressive, but he’s been tapering off. Last 13 games he’s 6 for 39 with 3 RBI’s. He was ripping it up for a while though.

Star power- seems like Mikolas faded fast-needs to work on conditioning.

Cabreras been good- keeps the ball down. Mikolas got away with a meatball this inning.

He was at 96 pitches and you know how they are, Wooster. Anywhere near that century mark and they go out there and get them if they allow even a base hit.

Just turned in to see mikolas give up the hit to tie it. Over 90 pitches and he didn’t even go five. That’s rediculous. Mikolas always starts getting tired as he nears n clears 90 pitches. You can talk about guys being able to go over a hundred but history shows some can’t do that. Great throw gets a double play on the sliding player at home. Still tied.

96 pitches to do 4.1 innings. That is some serious BS.

Yeah, Wooster, Cabrera’s been effective this season. He had a real nice stretch of work a couple of years ago. Then he started serving up too many taters.

And I don’t disagree with the pitching change at all. Mikolas was showing fatigue. And a couple long innings.

Stroman upper 60 pitches through 5, why can’t our guys do that.

Yeah, Mikolas needed to sit down. High pitch count and he’d been dodging traffic all night.

I’ll take it, but I didn’t think there was any way Wrigley would hold that baseball on to the field of play. Contreras now with 10 doubles on the season. Not too bad.

Willy with a double off the wall to drive in the 2nd run. Asking for a response from the crowd, haha.

Another starter who can’t even go five innings. A team can’t win that way I don’t care who the manager is. Period.

Nolan didn’t look like himself there.
