LOL, not personal. Just business. Fan business, all in the spirit of helping the Cards. I noticed a strong correlation with your number of posts to the number of Cardinal IL issues.

Yeah I get it. Hopefully Donovan won’t miss much time and it would be nice to get Bader back, although Carlson is doing much better defensively in CF than I thought he would. As for McFarland and VerHagen, meh. I am not sure we need them back.

Will we score another run this season?

^^ Agree. Pen seems to be morphing into a better state during their absence.

Who in this bullpen could McFarland or Verhagen replace?

ks, I think the answer is nobody unless you want to weaken the pen.

Finally having a wet day here in sw indiana. Grass was pretty much dying, looking almost like a desert. Don’t see any in st Louis so this is pretty much it. Cabrera on now, looking good.

But McFarland and Verhagen are owed money so I think we know what will happen.

Wasn’t there a concert or something recently at Busch? The grass has several brown spots on it. Seems odd they would hold events like that during the season.

Well Cabrera walking himself into some trouble but looks like Hicks is coming in.

Dandy exactly. Waste of roster space. Hudson a good outing. Can anything get this offense going. Maybe lay down a bunt, try something to get these bats woke up.

Dang. Cabrera two Ks then two BBs. Don’t trust Hicks at all here. He may walk two more and there goes the game.

Hicks gets us out of it. This may go extra innings.

Hate to say it’s now or never. But it has that feel. Goldy Arenado and Carlson. Get it done.

The advice they would have given me (in my baseball playing days) Choke up on the bat and just meet the ball.

Some hard hit balls but nothing to show. Id say Gibson’s day is done. Good pitching on both sides. Who is going to blink first. Helsley on now, I’m not a fan but I guess marmol is definitely playing to get to extras.

They say Goldy does that on 3rd strike Mack. Hes been swinging alot early in the count lately. Bout time for a Goldy or Nado dinger. One run may win this game. The suspense is building!C’mon Gorman knock it down!

Man, Sosa had a chance to make a mark but goes down on a lousy pitch. Why do guys swing at stuff like that??

Here comes Albert. Ollie emptying his bench and using a lot of pitchers. If this game goes long we will be in trouble. Albert is IbB’d, so that was a waste.

Scoring opportunity completely wasted. If Sosa bunts on 3rd strike Dickerson moves over. Sosa whiffs instead. Ovation they walk Albert? Puts slowest guy we have on bases and won’t let him hit.

I have never been a fan of our hitting coach. His seat should be pretty hot now if he can’t help adjust players approaches.

Cneble walks yepez, that’s surely a gift. Let’s go ahead and win this one.
