That first inning changes quite a bit if the home plate ump calls that 3rd strike on Profar like it was. Also, if Arenado’s throw was better on the possible DP to get Machado at first, there are no runs.
Clevinger’s last four games…3-1/3 innings, 5 ER…5 innings, 4 ER…5 innings, 6 ER…4 innings of no hit ball.
Just tuned in. I see we’re still saving runs for the playoffs and Wainwright not having the best night.

All 3 runs with 2 outs. Two on a hit that looked like a soft toss from a 4th grade schoolgirl, and one on a solo HR that quit the building pretty quick.
If the Redbirds could reach base, Clevinger won’t be able to jump around so much from the stretch. It’s beginning to annoy me.

Wonder if there’s a problem with the site? I could not get on with my phone, but had no problem getting on other websites. So I grabbed my wife’s laptop (because it was nearby) and same thing. So then I went downstairs to get my laptop, and here I am.
Me too, Euro. If I turn my phone off for a minute and then restart it, it seems to solve the problem for that particular day here at The Cardinal Nation.

OK Pug: It was after his rookie year in the Cards system. Had not seen him for some years. I told him I saw his stats in my little paperback stat book“WOW! I want to see it”
So we go back to to my house to have a look. My grand mom was shocked to see me bringing in this hulking black man to sit on my bunk bed and peer over the book. I reassured her that he was Miss Colbert’s boy from church. He was miffed that the stats were not accurate.I remember asking him who was the strongest player he ever saw (with Killebrew or Frank Thomas in mind) He said without a doubt it was Jim Wynne

Funny Euro! Tonight Rat has been itching to say that our magic number is now 7.5 and heading upward. This Brewer loss is going to ruin his evening.
