Dickerson singles and Albert pops out to 1B. 11-6 now and maybe Burleson can give the fans a slightly better taste in their mouth going home.

Donovan got on base so many times today that I lost count. I couldn’t make out our lineup without him in it.

Well, the only thing I want to remember about this one is that they didn’t go quietly.

But they did go quietly. Marmol pulled plug.

Naile got nailed in this one, but so did some others. Not a good day for the mound crew.

Bikemike…Bad day almost all the way around for the good guys, Mike. Goldy had a 1st inning RBI, but 7 LOB after that and Nado an 0 for 4 day. Team 2-12 with RISP. Mistake in LF cost 2 runs in the 4th while the Redbirds held a lead with Wainwright still working. Like you said, no help from the relief crew, and although he worked a BB, the new kid had an O’fer. Before you shoot me, Molina looks like he sees the leaves are ready to change color and taters-up twice, so that’s a good thing. Net bottom line reads a lousy day vs. a lousy opponent. That’s baseball sometimes.

Boy was this Call fellow dialed in at the dish today or what. He seems to be one of those prototypical station to station players straight out of the 50’s.

Stuff happens, usually even a rancid team will still win 1/3 of its games and an all time great team will lose 1/3 to finish 108-54.
