What the heck so cal, are you traveling in space at the speed of light testing the theory of relativity? At first I thought you might be playing off Pugs’ Woody Woodford reference, but that doesn’t work either.

I had last night down as a loss, but kept watching incase Albert got an AB. VERY glad I kept watching. That was one of the best comebacks for the Cards that I can remember since 2011 with Mr Freese!

    Paid - Annual

The best part was Ollie throws Woody out there with a mop and he comes away with the win.

Montgomery with a GmSc of 68 and a no decision.

Woodford holds them in check and gets zero credit. kinda par for the year.
Maybe its a mop up situation, but you can’t keep Geo out there he got bombed, and Zach didn’t look that sharp either, so enter Woody.
He has proven to be one of the best pitchers on the staff this year and deserves credit. Sure hope he makes the post season roster, he can certainly help.
    Go Cards, Great Win!!!

I stopped following when the Nats went up 5-1. Shame on me. Glad to see the Cards didn’t quit on it…now 25 games over .500. I don’t think that this is a team that many want to face in the playoffs. Even the Dodgers…their lefties have been amazing, but with three in the rotation you have to like how the current lineup matches up with them. Of course, we have to pitch to them as well.

Point being, no one is overly scary given how the team is playing right now. I really think the NL is a bit of a tossup, with the Dodgers a bit of a favorite, but the Mets, Braves and Cardinals all very solid options to win the pennant as well. It’ll come down to matchups.

O’Neill’s walk was a huge factor in the inning. He was down 0-2 and very patiently waited for his pitch that never came. A remarkable comeback that I’ll remember till I’m done… especially because Edman hit an 0-0 pitch high and outside and won the game for us.

I’m very pumped up about this team. And now enter Burleson.
