Frustrating night. Cards aren’t playing well and Spectrum Steaming is down all over the country.
You guys are my only connection… except for MLB Gameday and it’s slow as the hills to update.
Never can tell in Coors, Rats. It is one place where it truly ain’t “over ‘til it’s over.”
We might trail by 7 in the 7th, and score 7. Then score two more in the 8th and win 9-7. It can be that kind of a ball yard.
You could see Mikolas was off in his delivery in the 1st inning. He simply doesn’t have it tonight……I know it’s early, but he needs to be yanked. Don’t worry about taxing the pen….just throw McFarland out there to the wolves and call it a day.
Pugs, I think 1TD needs to go through the “Pugsy School of Broadcasting”. Seems a little slow on the uptake. Then again, maybe he is holding out for a more enticing contract, one that includes a couple of breaks during the contest, plus meals and free parking.
7-0 Rockies now. One of those innings for Mikolas.

Tell you how bad it is…..here we are only in the 3rd inning and Iglesias already has 3 hits…..the Rockies have 12 hits…..make that 13 hits now…..7-0 Rockies and they’re still looking for more.
Mikolas gets McMahon on a routine ground ball to Eddie for the fist out of the home half of the 3rd.
Grich ropes a belt high offering right back up the middle and into CF for a one out base hit.
Montero loops a single over Edman’s head and into RF for a base hit. Runners at the corners with 1 out.
Mikolas needs a ground ball, but he’s leaving a lot of pitches up in the zone tonight. That’s no good in this league.Diaz lines a double down the RF line. One run in and runners at 2nd at 3rd. Not good.
Line drive off of Mikolas and into CF for base hit abd another run scores…Aw heck, I can’t keep up. I’m having almost as bad of an outing as Mikolas…Take me out coach, I’m through!

I thought Mike Matheny was a terrible bullpen manager but holy crap Oli Marmol is really doing his best to supplant that thought.
Oh no…..and almost as quickly as his PBP career started, One Tough Dominican has turned in his 2 week notice……you are giving us 2 weeks aren’t you, TD?
Grichuk yanks one out of the park and as we still play here in the 3rd inning, the score is now 12-0 Rockies.
My goodness, what a mess this game has turned into. Will we see Albert again, or Yadi? Gonna have to get this drubbing out of their system.
Black Hills…Heck the BP only surrendered 2 ER’s. Think he may have left Mikolas in there too long? I thought the ref was going to stop the fight before Marmol came out to get him. The line? 10 ER’s in 2.2 IP to balloon his ERA to 3.50. Brutal outing to say the least.
The only guy we could get out was their DH with a sub 200ba and one home run. Feel like we got run over by a kid on a tricycle!
Once 5 innings are in the books they should just all agree that the weather is to inclement to continue.
Top of 4. This game isn’t over yet. If the Rockies scored 12 runs in just 3 innings, we can certainly hit them for about 15 runs over the next 6 frames. This may be an epic game yet…..stay tuned.
