They say it’s wise to never overlook and take lightly an opponent. But I think Shildt looks ahead to the cubs series and gives little thought to this final game in Frisco. The sweep is inevitable. Bring on the hapless cubbies!

Yep, by a wide margin. The Cardinals’ 377 walks are nearly 9% more than the next highest total, 346 by Cincinnati. They are also 2nd to last in MLB in strikeouts as a staff.
