According to pitch tracking Helsey really got squeezed on second pitch to Urias. Did you see it David?
We don’t seem to have that one Reliever that just comes in and mowes the hitters down. Maybe GG. If this continues, a reliever at the deadline maybe a consideration.
I did see that. The ump has not been consistent with his strike zone tonight. At least it seems that way to me.
Keep them to a run. That may have been Peraltas last inning. Hopefully. We have not figured him out at all.
Peralta is a fairly mediocre pitcher career and the Cards have hit him well in his career (14 ER in 21 career innings before tonight). Somehow he had our number tonight.
Well we need to get it tied at least here in the eighth. I’m not liking how this series goes if we don’t win this first one.
Sometimes those mediocre pitchers just have ACE nights. It seems to happen more than I’d like when facing us.
