Well we are getting ourselves in trouble now.
Agree Stlcard25. Waino pitched a great game. Now Gallegosmis off to a rough start. Yikes!!!
HBP. This one is in the major danger zone. Hopefully batters and out for Gallegos unless he finds his stuff. This one is too important.
Kaboom – Waino deserves better from the bullpen and the bats tonight.
Gallegos blows it. That does not happen very often but this one is going to hurt unless the offense can come back.
Now the steal. Ugh. Waino did not deserve this dud of a bullpen game.
This is an interesting move …
Weird defensive set up – 5 infielders and only two outfielders. May not matter with Gallegos’ lack of command.
This is either going to look brilliant or end horribly…5 infielders for Castro’s at bat.
I don’t like this move personally even if it works.
Gallegos has not looked comfortable all inning.
Wow … that was big! Gallegos strikes Castro out!
Castro looking for the slider, ant the express. Get Gomes now!!
Big out – agree 1982 Willie was not a fan of that move. It may have worked.
Man, what was Castro looking for?? Helped us big time! Now can Gallegos keep the ball in the zone with movement to Gomes?
Well there is your answer. Four pitch walk. Gallegos’ lack of command put the pressure on the offense to come back. How far back will depend on what Reyes does.
Geez, so many step offs and games. Probably due to noted agitator Josh Harrison. Need to get Gomes here.
Not even close on any of those, left him in one batter to long.
Ugh … walks Gomes! Nats up 3-2.
Is Gallegos going to walk the go ahead run in here? Ugh.
Blech. Gallegos is great, but he blew it tonight.
Well they stuck with him and it cost us. Schildt fell for the low hanging fruit of gallegos getting the strikeout forgetting what got the pitcher there in the first place.
Wainwright deserved better tonight. Gallegos had a tough night but he was left in too long tonight as it was clear he didn’t have it.
Need to rattle the bats here! This would be a tough game to lose after the outing Waino turned in.
