ehh Reyes still looks like Reyes ….still has issues with throwing strikes…always been a problem for him and still here
These announcers are stupid. So much stupid wrong stuff. And now they just said the Cardinals are off tomorrow.
Terrible announcers.

Welcome back to the big leagues, Reyes. He had some luck to not give up a run there. Going to be a battle of the bullpens today, I fear. I hope we can get to Guerra first and Reyes steadies the ship to get at least 5 innings.
Cardinals get a call to go there way on the review not getting overturned on that double play, pretty clear he was safe..
Absolutely atrocious work by the ump there. Hopefully Reyes can get some of those calls 4″ down off the zone.
You got that right Onyxgem. He’s been terrible so far. The Strike Two call on Gyorko wasn’t all that close. Heck, ol’ Jedd even had already tossed the bat away so he could head to first.
Jager, Milwaukee chose not to challenge. Had they, it was an easy overturn. Not sure why they didn’t.
Reyes sitting more like 93-94 right now. Seems he’s struggling to find the zone and trying to easy off to find it. Gonna need more punchouts too. Milwaukee is giving nothing on pitches that aren’t right down the pipe and Alex isn’t given the big zone that Guerra is so far.
Everybody realize the Cards go back to Milwaukee in three weeks? This time for a four game series. And then we are done in Milwaukee for the year. They still have two trips to St. Louis though.

Thanks MM for not giving Reyes one more inning at least. And playing for 1 run with the bullpen looming? Reyes’ last 2 outings he threw 90+ pitches, and he has been conditioned to do this for 2 months. It’s nice to know we have the 26th or 27th best manager.
Reyes was pressing in that last inning and the drop in velocity was concerning enough to come out to the mound with the trainer
no reason to push Reyes AT ALL… had he left him out there and he got hurt or lit up you’d be saying how dumb Matheny was for leaving him in…we get it…you hate Matheny and it doesnt matter what he does
also i saw on Rotoworld that he was lifted because of an apparent injury…maybe they are jumping the gun a little but that is what it says
down 0-1 after a questionable try for a force out at 2b by Carp earlier in the inning leading to the bases loaded fielder’s choice RBI
still..not a bad game so far… you win ZERO games when you dont score no matter the pitching so we have to find a way to score a run

I don’t mind pulling Reyes. He didn’t have his best stuff at all today. I don’t think he struck out a batter after the first inning and this ump is squeezing Cardinal pitchers.
That one run will probably hold up with the 7 foot strike zone Guerra is getting.
Carp screwed the pooch on the bunt play. Instead of just going to 1B he tries to get the lead runner and fails as Munoz was inside and way off the bag. Munoz then tried to relay the throw to 1B but Guerra beat the throw.
Then later in the inning Munoz screws the pooch on what should have been an inning ending double play.
Lol @ thejager somebody asks why REyes was taken out and you go with the you hate Matheny BS,. typical garbage from same people around here.
