Garcia with the solid white long sleeve(s)….kind of like the look….either solid black or white works….same with German Shepherd’s, the solid white or black dogs are much prettier….hope none of you out there have a traditional colored Shepherd…..and Williams sets us down here in the 2nd in a scoreless affair.
August 29, 2018 at 8:01 pm #67359Yes, Miles looking better in 2nd inning. I don’t have the advantage of color commentary or replay but looks like Williams is mixing it up pretty well. Our guys are off balance right now.
August 29, 2018 at 8:02 pm #67360Still here, Pugs, but have to go run an errand now and will be gone a few innings. Get us some runs while I’m out.
August 29, 2018 at 8:06 pm #67362A few years ago it sure looked like Marte was going to blossom into a super star….still a nice player though, but no Cooperstown appears imminent in his future.
August 29, 2018 at 8:08 pm #67364Hurry on back, Euro…. CardsRedSox4Ever and I will hopefully hold the fort down until your safe return.

jj-cf-stlParticipantYep. Were you hearing an empty room echo?
August 29, 2018 at 8:12 pm #67366
jj-cf-stlParticipantGot Cervelli to chase the outer half breaking ball this time.
August 29, 2018 at 8:13 pm #6736758 pitches thru 3 now for Mikolas so he’s tossed about 16 more pitches than he usually does, while registering 5 K’s….still scoreless.
August 29, 2018 at 8:16 pm #67368Ha ha! Was starting to get a little freightened being by myself here, Jon.
August 29, 2018 at 8:24 pm #67371Yadi hits into the DP. But holding out hope for inning #4 to put a couple of tallies up. I’m feelin’ it!
August 29, 2018 at 8:28 pm #67372Carp just pulled off first. Couldn’t tell why,but the trainer went with him. Adams in.
August 29, 2018 at 8:28 pm #67373Not watching. What happened to Carp?
August 29, 2018 at 8:29 pm #67374Nice DP! 1-4-3.
August 29, 2018 at 8:30 pm #67375Carp walked off the field while playing 1st. No obvious injury…
August 29, 2018 at 8:30 pm #67376NJ315
ParticipantAnother injury????
August 29, 2018 at 8:33 pm #67377I hope Carp is okay. If not, can they get Cesar Cedeno?

August 29, 2018 at 8:43 pm #67381Let’s take a quick gander at the out-of-town NL scoreboard shall we? In a completion of last night’s suspended game at Wrigley, a Ben Zobrist 11th inning single scoring Javi Baez, enabled the cubs to come away victors by the score of 2-1. Chavez picked up his 2nd win as a cub vs one setback and Sewald lost it, his 5th loss without a victory…..I better move this along or we’ll be here all night….the Mets got even in the 2nd game with a 10-3 trouncing over Chicago with Frazier ramrodding a 1st inning granny for the Metropolitans, his 16th and Caratini hitting home run #1 for the cubs. Mills lost it, his first decision for Chicago and Vargas pickup up the Win, moving his ledger to 5-8 on the campaign. In Cincinnati, the Reds just hit Milwaukee with a 4 spot in the 5th to seize a 7-5 advantage…..Suarez with the big blow a 2 run tater. Barnhart and Hamilton homered earlier for Cincy and Yelich drilled home run # 26 for the Crew. Elsewhere the Nats and Phils are knotted at 6 in the top of the 7th in the City of Brotherly Love.

ParticipantMaybe too much salsa for Carp?
August 29, 2018 at 8:44 pm #67383Maybe Big City can make the most of Carps exit.
August 29, 2018 at 8:46 pm #67384Broken bat single to left off the bat of Marte puts Pittsburgh on top 1-0 with 1 out here in the Pirate 5th.
August 29, 2018 at 8:50 pm #67386Oh crap. Our bats better wake up in the 5th before it’s too late.
August 29, 2018 at 8:50 pm #67387A Polanco hard hit single to right plates another tally…..2-0 now with runners straddling 1st & 2nd and still only one out. Maddux a mound visit with Miles. Cervelli lines out….2 down with Dickerson up….flys out yo Bader in center….93 pitches for Mikolas as we move along to the bottom of the 5th in a 2-0 Pirates ballgame.
August 29, 2018 at 8:56 pm #67390Shreve warming up in the BP. I don’t have a good feeling about this one.
