– Game 1: Friday, October 24
– Game 2: Saturday, October 25
– Game 3: Monday, October 27
– Game 4: Tuesday, October 28
– Game 5*: Wednesday, October 29

– Game 7*: Saturday, November 1*If necessary
October 18, 2025 at 12:20 pm #294496I will be the first to predict the outcome. Dodgers over the AL team.
October 18, 2025 at 12:43 pm #294502The question is how many games will it take? I say the Dodgers will stumble at least once. Dodgers in 5.
October 18, 2025 at 1:44 pm #294505I was also thinking Dodgers in 5, but a broom job is certainly not out of the question. But it’s also entirely possible that the current partnership involving MLB and the organized gambling syndicates could have an impact on the outcome. Wagering will undoubtedly be disproportionately heavy on the side of the Dodgers, so Vito may feel the need to pass on an envelope or two to a HPU or even a player to influence a desired outcome. Or, he could simply make an offer that’s extremely difficult to refuse…Haha!
October 18, 2025 at 2:43 pm #294506That did work for Arnold Rothstein back in the day so anything is possible.
But assuming the Dodgers do win they will be the first repeat champion in 25 years.
October 18, 2025 at 4:26 pm #294508Arnold always claimed he wasn’t in on it…
October 19, 2025 at 10:38 am #294526I hope it goes seven, and someone like Cal Raleigh or Vlad Jr, or of course Mr. Baseball himself, Shohei Ohtani, has a monster game seven and becomes the first ever “Mr. November.”
October 19, 2025 at 2:22 pm #294534And then there’s always the possibiity of what I call the Mickey Hatcher factor coming into play and a relatively unknown player suddenly becomes the toughest out in the ballpark. I love it when that happens!
October 19, 2025 at 10:16 pm #294561Dodgers in 5
October 19, 2025 at 11:12 pm #294563Where will Game #1 of the World Series be played?
Doyer Stadium or Seattle/Toronto?
October 19, 2025 at 11:15 pm #294564According to my source it’ll be played at Dodger Stadium regardless of who wins the AL pennant, Rat. And I can’t figure out why because the Blue Jays had a better regular season W/L record than the Dodgers.
October 20, 2025 at 8:03 am #294570Where will Game #1 of the World Series be played?
Doyer Stadium or Seattle/Toronto?
According to last nights telecast game 1 will be in Toronto if the Bluejays win and LA if the Mariners win.
October 20, 2025 at 9:31 am #294574For our official 1st Annual 2025 Playoff Predictions purposes, I’m calling Round 3 a wrap, and thus we are moving on to our 4th and final round…..the 2025 World Series. Posters whom have seen my slam dunk bet the ranch predictions over the years, know that I don’t swing and miss on these games. I maintain a documented 97.8% success rate on these ballgames. The Toronto Blue Jays will win tonight’s game and move on to face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2025 Fall Classic. Here’s how we all fared in Round 3:
Scotty……….2-0
Brian………..2-0
Pugs…………1-1
TD…………..1-1
BicycleMike…..0-2
Osuagec………0-2* Stlcard25, Rat & Booyah failed to submit Round 3 selections. Thanks to these fine 3 gentlemen for their participation and we look forward to all 3 of them going the distance next year. Their final records were:
Stlcard25- 5-3
Rat- 4-4
Booyah 4-4.Here is our up-to-date standings:
Brian – 9-1
Pugs -7-3
TD – 6-4
BicycleMike- 6-4
Osuagec – 5-5
Scotty – 4-6.As we can see, with only 1 game to go, Brian cannot be caught and thus will be crowned our 2025 Champion. And what a fine champion Brian is, registering an amazing 9-1 record! But we’ll finish what we started and complete our picks by choosing the World Series winner.
Pugs……Blue Jays to defeat the Dodgers.
October 20, 2025 at 11:35 am #294583I will stick with Dodgers in 5.
October 21, 2025 at 7:46 am #294615Well neither team I wanted to get here made it, but I am not surprised the Jays and Dodgers prevailed.
The Dodgers are looking a bit like the Yankees of 100 years ago – on the verge of winning pennants on a regular basis. Hard to not pick them to win it all again.
I will go with them in six.
October 21, 2025 at 8:22 am #294617
stlcard25ParticipantI had the Blue Jays and Dodgers, albeit after the Mariners had taken the series lead, as I was out of town for the picks last week.
The Dodgers will win this one in 5 games, tops.
October 21, 2025 at 10:42 am #294623Come one come all with your WS predictions. So far, picking the Dodgers are Brian, Scotty, TD, GameCard, stlcard25,and BicycleMike. And I’m going with Toronto…….let this be your cue to go make yourself some serious moolah on the series.
October 21, 2025 at 11:07 am #294624Despite having a soft spot in my heart for the Jays, after toiling for five years in their fair city during their last glory years in the 90s, I just don’t see how anybody is going to beat the Dodgers this year. I’m going to have to sign up with the majority going for Los Angeles in 5.
As an aside, I’m also glad to see Edman hitting the jackpot with LA and not forced to slog around in the cellar mud with the floundering Cardinals.
October 21, 2025 at 11:35 am #294625Dodgers in 5 seem to be the overwhelming response. I like the Jays in 6…….if matters go the Dodgers way, it may go Jays in 7.
As an added bonus, if any of you fearless forecasters here pick the WS MVP, you’ll be the lucky recipient of a baseball card package that will knock your socks off.
My choice for WS MVP is Alejandro “Captain Kirk” Kirk.
October 21, 2025 at 1:39 pm #294639Dodgers sweep. And then there will be a lockout in 2027 as ownership will be demanding a salary cap to prevent teams from being able to buy championships.
October 21, 2025 at 1:57 pm #294642Dodgers in five. It is “low hanging fruit” at its lowest, but I will go with Ohtani as MVP.
October 21, 2025 at 2:02 pm #294644MVP-Mookie Betts
October 21, 2025 at 5:00 pm #294653If I was betting on this, I would obviously take the Dodgers, but I’m sure I’m not alone in rooting for the Blue Jays.
October 21, 2025 at 6:13 pm #294654What if somebody picks the Blue Jays in four games?
Suppose the Doyers just absolutely flop?
And what are the odds that Ohtani leads off Game #1 with a dong?
October 21, 2025 at 7:06 pm #294655I was going to wager on Betts for MVP, but see scottar has him and we would have to split the prize if he gets it. I will instead take a flyer on Vlad Jr.
