A question for any who has been to AFL games in person: Are tickets easy to come by? Going to visit my son in Scottsdale during the week of Nov 10. Raised him to be Cards fan in New Jersey(his brothers went astray, Yanks and Phils…Phillies really?). It’s something we’ll enjoy while the girls go to the spa, or whatever.
I think every bullpen pitcher with an option gets a chance for ribs in Memphis this year — Hicks, Bowman included. This will be for rest, for self-discovery, whatever. If the results aren’t there or you’re gassed, you’re going to Memphis. You’re alternative ia the DL. And so there is 12-man bullpen now.
I think Weaver will get a trip to Memphis too, at some point — unless he’s practically perfect in every way.

want to see what happens tonight with a late lead. Holland? That’s politically correct. Gregorson? That’s my guess. Hicks? Back-to-back and balanced for disaster at any moment. Tuivalala? That would take some nerveI’m with Matheny on this one.
You back your team’s successful come back with all the bullets you have. And it makes a difference that it was the Cubs. I might change my mind if it was the Twins or the White Sox.
And remember this is a 33 year old spare part. If you handle Jordan Hicks like this, I have a problem with it. Yes, those differences in age,and talent level matter.
And I’m sure if you ask Bud Norris about his feelings on this today, he was OK with this choice.
