It was not Jack that cost us this game. It was an offense that was flat because they put every motion they had into sweeping the Cubs. Didn’t matter who was on the mound for us today because the offense did not play their part in a TEAM sport.

With that being said I think it is better for Flaherty to have his first game back against a Nationals team than against a stronger team so that he could build up his stamina and work on the mechanics. We applaud other pitchers when they go 5 innings and only give up a couple hits and a run so why can’t we be consistent and do the same for Jack!?

They never were before this year. That was the way I used to watch the games in the past but for some reason ever since Bally Sports took over the “rules” have gone out the window and anything that has St. Luis Cardinals (or any form thereof) in the title is blacked out. Even if it is a replay of a game from 30 years ago. Very frustrating that MLB, DirecTv, Dish, all the media outlets don’t care about the fans and even more frustrating that there in not enough fans who will boycott these outlets to make a difference.

Can someone tell me why the Free Game of the Day is still blacked out? I have only gotten to see THREE Cardinal games this year and was really looking forward to watching today.

I don’t figure they will be but I can still hold out hope. It is very frustrating that I can watch everything else on FSM (Channel 671) except anything related to the Cardinals. Any program that deals with the Cardinals gets blacked out regardless if there is anything Royals related on FSM (671-5). Even during all of this COVID-19 nonsense when they were showing repeats of the All-Time Cardinal games I was blocked from watching them. The rules are archaic and nobody (MLB, FSM, DirecTV/DISH) want to take ownership and always blame each other. It is a slap in the face to fans.

What do you think this means for those of us who live in areas where we get FSM but because we are in a region that multiple teams have “rights” to we only see one teams game (and unfortunately for me that is the Royals and not the Cardinals even though I pay extra for my RSN)?
