I do not mean Burly is, I meant the best he will ever be at his best. He might hit .330, but limited power and poor defense. John Mabry, but Mabry played better defense the Burly.

lieve the Cardinals are averaging almost 40,000 a game, let me break it to you. There has not been 39k at a game all year. There hasnt been 25k since opening week. All accross baseball attendance is a big lie. They are not counting people that came through the gates like they once did. They are counting tickets bought, tickets the gave away to businesses, hospitals, little league, promotions, etc. If the attendence states 38k, then the actual attendance is likely 20. I mean, look at the crowds in the seats folks, you think that missing 15k are all in restrooms, getting concessions? Lol. Turn on youtube and watch a Monday Night Baseball from 1970s or 80s. Thats 35k folks, on a mid season Monday night. Or, watch an NFL game, weird how there 40k sure looks twice the size as a MLB game with 39k.

Burleson is Kieth Hernandez that cannot play defense. Offensively he and Hernandez are nearly the same producers, but defensively, well, we all Hernandez is among the best to ever play at 1b, defensively. You can’t win with burrlson playing first, you can’t win with him in the outfield because he brings no other visable attriutes besides a possible .330 hitter who will hit 12 HRs a year. This organization is lost, and it stems from going AWAY from the Cardinal way and wanting to be like the Tampa Bay Rays, analytics. Look at the roster, its full of a bunch of utility players that the orginization thinks is an everyday player. Well, not on a championship team, hate to break it to you. We all onow why Shildt got canned, he told Mo they were wrong in wanting to be like Tampa Bay, who by the way has never won anything except “lets have a winning record and spend the least”. Oli Moronal has to go, with Mo, and get back to Cardinals baseball.
