We need more than 3 hits.
July 10, 2024 at 2:29 pm #259869Yea but you have charm Pugs.
Well I had Lucky Charms for breakfast if that counts for anything, KeepComingBack. Great one with Moustaucas, stlcard25. Any other baseball Mooses?
July 10, 2024 at 2:32 pm #259870Roycroft does the job in the top of the 7th, but now the offense needs to kick it into gear. We cannot lose this one after leading earlier 3-0.
July 10, 2024 at 2:39 pm #259872Will Smith sets us down in order in the 7th. Still 4-3 Royals. They have 6 hits….a homer and a gob of doubles and we have only 3 hits…..2 of them homers.
July 10, 2024 at 2:45 pm #259873We’re in trouble now as Kansas City leads off the 8th with consecutive singles off Roycroft, placing runners at the corners and then a sac fly to left plates KC run #5.
July 10, 2024 at 2:47 pm #259874Getting out of hand.
July 10, 2024 at 2:48 pm #259875Now Moose Perez singles in another making it 6-3. Game not over yet as we get 2 more cracks at these guys…..they better be quality cracks though.
July 10, 2024 at 2:52 pm #259876Sam Long on to pitch the 8th…..let’s hope it’s a long half inning.
July 10, 2024 at 2:55 pm #259877Pedro Pages raps a one out base hit to left that hopefully will inspire grandiose happenings. Then Winn pops out meekly to 3rd after having a ridiculously high pitch being called strike 2. Up to Rat and Bling’s boy…..Burly.

jj-cf-stlParticipantWith Marshs’ reverse splits, they’ve thrown lefties at us all game. The book is out.
July 10, 2024 at 3:07 pm #259879Gio with the spotless inning. Go figure.
July 10, 2024 at 3:11 pm #259880Goldy clanks an opposite field homer off the foul pole in right…..wait….it landed just inside the pole….any way it’s a homer making it 6-4 KC…..not over yet.

jj-cf-stlParticipantAtta-boy Nado
July 10, 2024 at 3:13 pm #259882Arenado with a 2 out base hit to left. Tying run on for Nooty…..oh for a long one here.
July 10, 2024 at 3:15 pm #259883Would love to “park” one off “McArthur” here.
July 10, 2024 at 3:15 pm #259884
jj-cf-stlParticipantGive up 6, odds aren’t good.
Need a split.July 10, 2024 at 3:16 pm #259885Nooty flies out…..6-4 your unhappy final in Game 1.
July 10, 2024 at 3:37 pm #259886Well, the sunny side is we another game and a chance to break even for the day. A Cardinal pitcher with a career 4.1 IP’ed gets matched up with a former Cardinal pitcher who’s worked almost 1400 IP’ed in his career. Should be interesting.
July 10, 2024 at 3:53 pm #259887
jj-cf-stlParticipant101 pitches by Andre. I liked how Oil stayed with him. Sometimes you pay for balls in play.
July 10, 2024 at 4:08 pm #259889Obviously we can win without Siani.
July 10, 2024 at 4:22 pm #259890Royals have 2 players you need to keep from beating you——-
July 10, 2024 at 4:42 pm #259893Frustrating loss after having a 3-0 lead. We really need to avoid the sweep….(Captain Obvious)
July 10, 2024 at 4:45 pm #259894Pallante gave them a chance. He just couldn’t make a pitch or two when needed to escape trouble in that 5th inning. Royals tacked on a couple in the 8th and those two runs proved to be enough.
July 10, 2024 at 4:50 pm #259897The Royals are a good team. And like KCB mentioned, they have a couple of outstanding players that are up to the task at any time and any situation.

jj-cf-stlParticipantVery balanced handedness splits too.
.710 and .711 ops, as a roster. -
