We need more than 3 hits.

Yea but you have charm Pugs.

Well I had Lucky Charms for breakfast if that counts for anything, KeepComingBack. Great one with Moustaucas, stlcard25. Any other baseball Mooses?

Roycroft does the job in the top of the 7th, but now the offense needs to kick it into gear. We cannot lose this one after leading earlier 3-0.

Will Smith sets us down in order in the 7th. Still 4-3 Royals. They have 6 hits….a homer and a gob of doubles and we have only 3 hits…..2 of them homers.

We’re in trouble now as Kansas City leads off the 8th with consecutive singles off Roycroft, placing runners at the corners and then a sac fly to left plates KC run #5.

Now Moose Perez singles in another making it 6-3. Game not over yet as we get 2 more cracks at these guys…..they better be quality cracks though.

Sam Long on to pitch the 8th…..let’s hope it’s a long half inning.

Pedro Pages raps a one out base hit to left that hopefully will inspire grandiose happenings. Then Winn pops out meekly to 3rd after having a ridiculously high pitch being called strike 2. Up to Rat and Bling’s boy…..Burly.

With Marshs’ reverse splits, they’ve thrown lefties at us all game. The book is out.

Goldy clanks an opposite field homer off the foul pole in right…..wait….it landed just inside the pole….any way it’s a homer making it 6-4 KC…..not over yet.

Arenado with a 2 out base hit to left. Tying run on for Nooty…..oh for a long one here.

Well, the sunny side is we another game and a chance to break even for the day. A Cardinal pitcher with a career 4.1 IP’ed gets matched up with a former Cardinal pitcher who’s worked almost 1400 IP’ed in his career. Should be interesting.

101 pitches by Andre. I liked how Oil stayed with him. Sometimes you pay for balls in play.

Obviously we can win without Siani.

Frustrating loss after having a 3-0 lead. We really need to avoid the sweep….(Captain Obvious)

Pallante gave them a chance. He just couldn’t make a pitch or two when needed to escape trouble in that 5th inning. Royals tacked on a couple in the 8th and those two runs proved to be enough.

The Royals are a good team. And like KCB mentioned, they have a couple of outstanding players that are up to the task at any time and any situation.

    Very balanced handedness splits too.
    .710 and .711 ops, as a roster.
