For anyone who doesn’t have local TV to watch, Stanford University has been running an experiment to test streaming quality where they live stream the Bay area channels over the web. Useful if you want different NFL games in the winter.

Just search Puffer Stanford and you should be able to find it and then pick the Fox broadcast.

It was indeed a really cool pregame. I like what Masyn Winn said about it feeling bigger than baseball.

I am just glad integration in the game came before me so I could thrill to the exploits of Gibson, Flood, Brock, White, McGee, Lankford and the list goes on and on. Not to mention players on other teams such as Mays.

I wonder what the paying crowd thinks about the rare occasion of having the Cardinals/Giants playing a game in their town of Birmingham, but not being able to see these two storied teams dressed out in their Big League uniforms?

I like Pages strike zone. He’s generous up, but I think he knows he needs to be.

Pages takes two right down central as Mike Shannon say, and eventually grounds out. That is an anemic average he is sporting. For all his good defense he probably goes back down when Willson is activated.
