Not crazy about Carp over Carlson. One is a dead end the other needs playing time. I’d have preferred Carlsons D too. So, go ahead and go 4 fer 4 Carp.

    LOL

Why’s Arenado not in the lineup?

Shady had him sent to AA. We’re still not sure whether it is Springfield or Alcoholics Anonymous.

I suspected that may be the case, LA…Let’s hope he gets straightened out.

Edit…Are you certain it wasn’t a punitive gesture intended to hold him accountable for last night’s 2 run tater?

Third inning and the Cardinals have already ran into two outs.

Pffft. 2 base running outs kills a rally pretty good. My pick to click Carp got us on the board!

The Cardinals are known for benching players in the midst of hot streaks.

29 pitches over 2 IP is a good count for Andre.

The baserunner outs last inning didn’t slow us down on the basepaths. Gorman drives in Goldy.

RBI double for Gorman!…You just know Goldschmidt’s going to score from 1B on an Xtra base hit. With Eddie hurt, I think Paul’s the best baserunner on this team.

Herrera misses a sac fly opp or better w/a man on 3rd, less than 2 out.

This is the longest “hot streak” I can remember from Gorman. Sure would be a nice “norm” going forward.

He’s swinging the bat better the last week or so, but he had collected 13 HR’s by the end of last May. Then he really cooled off and hit only 14 more for the remainder of ’23. Let’s hope he stays dialed in.

When i was a little kid my Gr-parents owned a drugstore in a small town is Missouri. It had a whole glass case with every candy bar known to man PayDay was a favorite. Salted peanuts over caramel. Cardinals were on the radio. Dizzy Dean announcing, Jack Buck was his side-kick…

    Paid - Annual

Andre has exceeded expectations today. It helps that it’s the Reds. But still he’s been solid. Maybe even 1 more inning.
