Another LHP for the Reds. I wonder what the lineup will look like today?

I hope we don’t get swept by the Reds. There’s a good chance we will get swept by Philadelphia. We just sort of got ourselves halfway back into contention with the five game winning streak and winning 10 out of the last 12. I hope we don’t blow it up by losing six straight this week.

In my view, the Cardinals won’t contend for anything other than the title of a losing baseball team until they win two more games in order to lift them to the .500 plateau. If they ever achieve that feat they can then begin to establish themselves as a winning baseball team and possibly contend for something worthwhile.

I can’t remember when a Cardinal team was as vulnerable to LHP’ing as this ’24 edition is so far. Any opposing team should do anything possible to line up their rotation to feature a couple of lefies in a series against this team.

They’re showing those Dave Parker highlights. He was no joke and I’d have to say he was the best all around baseball player in either league for at least 2 or 3 seasons.

I was just looking into it JJ, and I’d have to say that if it weren’t for the 30 year old Shogun Chimichanga, Winn would be hands down NL ROY at this juncture.
