Note that Liberatore is staying in the rotation for at least one more turn…

    12:05 p.m.
LHP Matthew Liberatore (1-1, 4.56) vs. RHP Nick Pivetta (1-2, 3.48)
    Roku // KMOX // WIJR

“Viewers without a Roku device can stream the games on the Roku Channel app, which is free and available on Amazon Fire devices, Samsung TVs and Google TVs. It also is accessible via therokuchannel.com with no login required.”

A Roku game? I understand from a business perspective that each streaming service wants to get into sports for the money. However, the more that enter the sports competition, the worse the user experience gets. Before you know it, you’ll need 10 streaming service where you are paying $15 a month just to watch your favorite sports teams on a consistent basis. I for one have been trying to vote with my wallet / viewership and havent been watching the random Apple / Roku, etc games.

Roku bought the early Sunday game package that Peacock had last year. At least Roku is free, though I agree it is anti-customer to spread the games all over. Yet, we already knew that MLB cares about $$ far more than fans. Some day, they will have squeezed the last golden egg out of that goose…

I know we have a Roku device amongst the multiple shelves of tech crap next to the TV. I am pretty sure it is up and running and is important for my wife to get Netflix and I believe Britbox. So is that going to get me the game somehow?

Yes. You have to select the Roku Channel on your Roku. Pick it instead of the Netflix icon or the other choices.

Part of the reason the Cardinals are so bad at the final games of series is that they have adopted this approach that all the bench players must play the same day.

Well, what do you know?…I logged on to this roku channel and I’m getting the game with no email sign in, CC #, SSN, or Mother’s maiden name…Haha! Looks like the yardwork I was going to catch up on won’t get done. Too hot, anyway!

Libby got behind 3-0 to O’Neill and laid it in there, so no we are down 1-0.

Yeah, since when do offer up a pitch that’s belt high on 3-0? The HPU’s going to call a strike if it’s within shouting distance of the strike zone.

TO hammered that ball. Need to answer with at least two this inning.

I believe Goldy is riding a 7 game hitting streak and is hitting around .350 in the last week. It is nice to see him finally warming up and here is to hoping it continues.

I don’t understand that lineup either. We just had an off day, so how do Gorman and Winn need a day off already? I understand Herrera given the night game and being a catcher, but not Winn and Gorman. We really need to spread out our off days and not replace 1/3rd of the lineupbon getaway days.

I don’t like it either. It’s like they plan to lose. I 100% get Pages with Sunday day game. With Liberatore starting, this one is going to be tough to win already without the bench playing.

59 pitches for Liberatore. That should do it for him today.

I sure didn’t see that K of Devers. Had a bad feeling about that matchup with runners aboard for the Red Sox slugger. Liberatore made a pitch.

You can pencil in Pages and Crawford almost every Sunday. Very predictable.

It’s like they plan to lose.

That is the exact message you are sending to the team every Sunday.

Carlson sits again vs a RH starter. He and Siani made a nice platoon last night.

Maybe they have to pay their regulars double time for Sunday pay? We all know how close Willie Jr. watches the bottom line.

Maybe when Edman comes back Crawford will get the boot instead of Siani. Or maybe I should say if Edman comes back at this rate.

I agree ATM. Fermin should be on the roster instead of Crawford. I don’t foresee Edman back anytime soon if at all this year. His injury has apparently turned out to be much more serious than was initially diagnosed.

Carlson has options too. Could be a Siani/Carlson decision when another CF’r returns?

No way I would send Siani down. He is probably our best OF at the moment.
