Too bad he won’t get the winning decision as the Bavarian Bismark Beast obviously outdueled Skenes in this game…Now it’s up to Helsley to hold this 1 run lead for the Redbird W.

An absolutely horrible managerial decision to pinch run for one of the top hitters in the MLB, who was DH in a one run game late. And Burly was at 1B. Win or lose, a terrible decision !

I also have to admit I was amazed by Skenes’ dominance at LSU and thought he was as close to a sure thing as possible. So I get where Jnevel is coming from. But yeah, he’s got a lot of climbing left to reach the Pujols-sphere.

Up against a tough SP’er on the road and walk away with a W in a 2-1 final after surrendering a 1-0 lead late. Pardon me for saying so, but that was the sort of game that good teams win.

Taking a gander at Tuesday night’s late out-of-town scoreboard:
The Reds and Braves were rained out tonight down in Dixie.
The Brewers and Cubs are scoreless in the top of the 2nd at Wrigley. They also had a rain delay, this one about 90 minutes.
The Giants and Doyers are coming up later tonight at Doyer Stadium.
And as I type this the so-called experts are saying that Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are pretty much tied. Bernie Sanders is currently in 3rd place.
