An Arenado tater makes it 1-0 StL.

One extra base hit wasn’t enough last night, and it won’t be enough tonight.

Nice homer by the other Nolan than the one who hit one last night. But we need more than 1 tonight.

That must be scary for you knowing we’re on the same page J!

I was thinking the same. Practically the same post at the same time.

    Lance stranded them.

That’s twice he’s stranded the bases loaded.

86 pitches. Want him back out?

It seems like nearly a sure thing that Liberatore is starting tomorrow. Graceffo pitched for Memphis today. Not a lot of other options.

Isn’t it about our turn to get a Paul Skene?

He hasn’t pitched since July 14th. Well rested.

Paul Skenes seems like the kind of guy who comes around once every five years or so. We had Pujols. It may be a bit for our next turn.

Well – maybe one run could be enough. I certainly don’t like it. But it just might work.

Any way to avoid the 100 losses? Lol
Did the lottery upgrade that #1 pick?

    That was 23 years ago.

Right. So that means 4 teams have scored a Skenes or Pujols since then.

JoJo gives up a “double” on a stick out your bat to avoid striking out flop fly that falls in front of Siani who overruns it. Then a ground ball to SS gets through because we were playing Gonzalez to pull. Tie game.

Bucs fans getting into this game in a big way late.

That is 3 times lately that the opponent has brought the infield in against Burleson late and he has hit it every time to what would have been an out at regular depth to 2nd, but the infield in has cost them.

There’s only been 4 elite pitchers/ players in the last 23 years? Come on.

    I may have exaggerated KCB.

Hey, Carlson is still on this team! He is pinch running for Burleson. I had figured Carlson must have died or retired.
