0-0. So far, so good.
July 23, 2024 at 6:54 pm #261362
jj-cf-stlParticipantAn Arenado tater makes it 1-0 StL.
One extra base hit wasn’t enough last night, and it won’t be enough tonight.
July 23, 2024 at 6:54 pm #261363Nice homer by the other Nolan than the one who hit one last night. But we need more than 1 tonight.
July 23, 2024 at 6:56 pm #261364
jj-cf-stlParticipantThat must be scary for you knowing we’re on the same page J!
July 23, 2024 at 6:57 pm #261365I was thinking the same. Practically the same post at the same time.
July 23, 2024 at 6:59 pm #261366
jj-cf-stlParticipantWhat now Lance?
July 23, 2024 at 7:02 pm #261367
jj-cf-stlParticipantLance stranded them.
July 23, 2024 at 7:03 pm #261368That’s twice he’s stranded the bases loaded.
July 23, 2024 at 7:08 pm #261369
jj-cf-stlParticipant86 pitches. Want him back out?
July 23, 2024 at 7:10 pm #261370
jj-cf-stlParticipantKing starts the bottom of the 6th.
July 23, 2024 at 7:16 pm #261371It seems like nearly a sure thing that Liberatore is starting tomorrow. Graceffo pitched for Memphis today. Not a lot of other options.
July 23, 2024 at 7:21 pm #261372Isn’t it about our turn to get a Paul Skene?
July 23, 2024 at 7:23 pm #261373
jj-cf-stlParticipantHe hasn’t pitched since July 14th. Well rested.
July 23, 2024 at 7:27 pm #261374Paul Skenes seems like the kind of guy who comes around once every five years or so. We had Pujols. It may be a bit for our next turn.
July 23, 2024 at 7:28 pm #261375Well – maybe one run could be enough. I certainly don’t like it. But it just might work.
July 23, 2024 at 7:29 pm #261376
jj-cf-stlParticipantAny way to avoid the 100 losses? Lol
Did the lottery upgrade that #1 pick?July 23, 2024 at 7:36 pm #261377Paul Skenes seems like the kind of guy who comes around once every five years or so. We had Pujols. It may be a bit for our next turn.
That was 23 years ago.
July 23, 2024 at 7:43 pm #261378Right. So that means 4 teams have scored a Skenes or Pujols since then.
JoJo gives up a “double” on a stick out your bat to avoid striking out flop fly that falls in front of Siani who overruns it. Then a ground ball to SS gets through because we were playing Gonzalez to pull. Tie game.
July 23, 2024 at 7:47 pm #261379Bucs fans getting into this game in a big way late.
July 23, 2024 at 7:50 pm #261380
jj-cf-stlParticipantSho-me behind the runner, Winn
July 23, 2024 at 7:55 pm #261381That is 3 times lately that the opponent has brought the infield in against Burleson late and he has hit it every time to what would have been an out at regular depth to 2nd, but the infield in has cost them.
July 23, 2024 at 7:56 pm #261382Right. So that means 4 teams have scored a Skenes or Pujols since then.
There’s only been 4 elite pitchers/ players in the last 23 years? Come on.
July 23, 2024 at 7:57 pm #261383
jj-cf-stlParticipantTimely single by Burly
2-1 StLJuly 23, 2024 at 7:57 pm #261384Burleson !!! Long-term extension, anyone? Way before the price goes way up.
July 23, 2024 at 7:58 pm #261385I may have exaggerated KCB.
Hey, Carlson is still on this team! He is pinch running for Burleson. I had figured Carlson must have died or retired.
