When you have no hits by your starters in 20 some innings it’s no longer time to tip your cap schildt. Let’s start hitting and at least make this competitive

Again, six good innings and only one run from the Cardinal starter. Wainwright has kept his team in the game. The offense needs to pick things up!

It’s hard to imagine they would top last night, but they are. I heard a lot of booing after the 5th. It’s embarrassing to be this mismatched. Is there another assistant hitting coach they can fire before the trip to DC?

The score is 1-0 in the 6th of Game 2 and this series already has a lost feel about it. Cardinals batters just aren’t being competitive. And as pointed out, it started in Atlanta the last several innings against the Braves scrub pitchers with all the no-purpose hacking.

Mikolas represented very well and Wainwright again today, just striking out Soto again to end the top of the 6th. Not much more you could ask of them. Time for the offense to come out of its coma.

I’m guessing we will hear the cliche simple minded baseball lines in post game…”tip your cap” and the rest of the easily predictable lines our team uses.

No hit through six innings again. Fifteen innings against Washington pitching and only one hit. Really hard to win when you cannot get a hit.

Wishful thinking but not optimistic- this no hit performance will convince our ownership this club needs men that swing the bat and actually lift weights.

The Cardinal hitters look totally over matched. Hoping Martinez pulls Scherzer due to pitch count. Maybe then the Cards will have a chance.

That is a back breaker. It will be very hard to score more than three runs today. I could be wrong, but things do not look promising at the moment.

Wainright deserved more.

Game over. Waino was great but wasn’t left in to long there in the 8th inning. Not that it matter this offense stinks so bad it is not even funny
