I just realized we’re 20 games over for the first time. I
wonder how far you’d have to go back to the last time we were?September 22, 2019 at 2:13 pm #107836Bryant did the bannana peel slip off first base running out a grounder, hes out. Rizzos playing with a flat tire too.
September 22, 2019 at 2:14 pm #107837Playing hurt guys doesn’t pay. Will never forget Buckner.

Wooster, Cubs employ the Golden State Warriors strategy of playing a broken player instead of a sound bench option. To me that’s simply insane
September 22, 2019 at 2:40 pm #107839Yeah Carter, can’t see playing half a player when you may end up needing the whole package. If you can’t plug in guys you don’t have a whole team.
September 22, 2019 at 2:48 pm #107840Brewers beating the brakes off’n Pirates again. I wonder if they will even win another game this year
September 22, 2019 at 3:01 pm #107841Probably start playing all theirprospects soon.
September 22, 2019 at 3:03 pm #107842Pirates seemed to loose steam after that series with Cincy
September 22, 2019 at 3:04 pm #107843Dang they got a homah, now we need 2. Time for some small ball?
September 22, 2019 at 3:12 pm #107844Is it just my imagination or does Goldy take every first pitch, even when they are right down Broadway
September 22, 2019 at 3:17 pm #107845Seen him hit first pitch before but he does seem to work the count alot. Just checked game day and they are swinging at strikes. I think Darvish’s pitches have a lot if movement on them. He throws everything.

He does. Now let me ask you: Does Ozuna have more GIDP than Yadi and DeJong combined?
September 22, 2019 at 3:29 pm #107847Don’t really know that one. I’m not real big on stats. Ozuna has alot of power when he hits one. He has been more selective lately though. He seems to hit in streaks.

stlcard25ParticipantGotta find a way to scratch a run out in the 9th. Darvish has been great but he’s not unhittable. Mikolas has been good but with the couple of mistakes. Did anyone else think the “passed ball” in the 1st looked like a foul tip?
September 22, 2019 at 3:36 pm #107850Stlcard, yeah I thought so too?
September 22, 2019 at 3:37 pm #107851Guess the ump woulda heard it tip though
September 22, 2019 at 3:38 pm #107852I don’t think we pull this one out. The Brewers loom.
September 22, 2019 at 3:39 pm #107853On the tip: I thought the catcher caught it clean
September 22, 2019 at 3:41 pm #107854Good idea Schildt, lets not give it away. Gonna need some runs next inning!
September 22, 2019 at 3:43 pm #107855Naw Carter it skipped off the top of Yadis glove
