Brian now chimes in with a little Espanol…..sweet! And Carioca is hereby designated The King of Spanish! Next to your’s truly, Carioca may very well be the most Spanish fluent gringo I’ve ever met. It would have been an absolute hoot to do this game thread entirely in Spanish. Next time we go to Mexico, we must for sure do one.

Gallegos and Miller can’t get out of the inning, so Hicks is in to close the 8th out.

Hicks’ breaking ball broke a little too much and now the bases are loaded. Tying run is at the plate for the Reds.
