Base hit Webb. 7 runs Cards! Pitchers outa gas, been chased. Bug inning still going
September 5, 2019 at 1:24 pm #105223I KNEW Hudson could hit as he makes a lotta contact.
September 5, 2019 at 1:26 pm #105224Edman sends an unhandled hit shot to 2nd. Another rbi. Don’t get too much better than that!

September 5, 2019 at 1:33 pm #105226Those guys got the wrong colors on Carter?
September 5, 2019 at 1:44 pm #105228“Those guys got the wrong colors on Carter?”
Blame Warner Bros!
September 5, 2019 at 1:50 pm #105229Go, Cards! Let’s get some more runs so we’re sure to get a chance to see Cabrera pitch an inning or two.

stlcard25ParticipantNice work so far by the offense and Hudson. He has been the beneficiary a lot this year but has also pitched his game and kept the team in it a lot.
September 5, 2019 at 1:55 pm #105231Yeah, I haven’t seen him pitch yet.Been waitin for Azonerana to get a legitimate hit. Came in as the hot prospect, hes fast but haven’t seen him hit anything yet. Ozunas been quiet so far in this one. Hit em twice but out both times.
September 5, 2019 at 1:59 pm #1052323-1, 1-0, 8-9, 8-0. They only score more than one run when we play bullpen games? They didn’t score off of the starter last night either. Need to get rid of some bullpen folks.
Carp gets another hit? 221 now? Finally, Hudson gets a bunt down, with an eight-run lead. lol. Need to have him bunting every day.
September 5, 2019 at 2:09 pm #105233Carp has raised his OPS above .700! Hallelujah!
September 5, 2019 at 2:10 pm #105234Carter, nice pic. Wooster, I get your point though. Here’s a better color scheme.
September 5, 2019 at 2:11 pm #105235Even the one run against Wainwright was not against him. A reliever. The Card starters have not allowed a run in this series. Through six.
Repeat: Card starters have not allowed a run in this series, through six.
September 5, 2019 at 2:27 pm #105236Would be pretty cool to see Cabrera pitch well in some low pressure situations and parlay that into some confidence that trickles down to Triple A next year
We can dream can’t we
September 5, 2019 at 2:27 pm #105237Like that toon alot better! Cabrerras in!
September 5, 2019 at 2:30 pm #105238Quick 7th for Cabrera
September 5, 2019 at 2:50 pm #105239Quick 8th for Cabrera!

stlcard25ParticipantThe Memphis crew adds to the rout! Ravelo follows O’Neills double with a homer. 10-0 Cards
September 5, 2019 at 3:00 pm #105241O’niel w a double, Ravelo gets his first major dinger! 2 more runs!
September 5, 2019 at 3:04 pm #105242This where I always have to ask Pugs to clarify the mercy rule and when to call off the dogs. I do seem to recall that neither apply against the cubs.
September 5, 2019 at 3:11 pm #105243
stlcard25ParticipantCabrera ends up with the save as the Cards win it 10-0! Well done, Cardinals!
September 5, 2019 at 3:13 pm #105244Now that’s the kind of game I could get used to.
September 5, 2019 at 3:13 pm #105245Congrats Cardinals. Team played good today. Lots of hits, good pitching by everyone. Really went our way today. Well played. Go Cardinals!
September 5, 2019 at 3:16 pm #105246“Carter, nice pic. Wooster, I get your point though. Here’s a better color scheme”

Thanks! I agree, Wolf.
September 5, 2019 at 3:18 pm #105247I wonder when the Cards’ last 3-inning save occurred — a rarity I think.
