Not only did you see that! You saw him overrun the ball and scale the fence when the ball was a good 5-6 feet from going out.

He might be in Jose Canseco territory for that one.

I still have no idea how Marcel Ozuna ever won a gold glove. What the heck was that?

What the hell did Ozuna do that for? He did that last year, not quite as bad as this one though. Sorry that he got hurt, but his brain goes on a walkabout at times.

He wasn’t watching the ball and assumed the play would be at the wall. He completely misjudged it because he wasn’t looking at it.

He won it by robbing a home run and hitting 37 home runs. I’m assuming that was only play people saw him make that season

Hold on to your hats folks. We’re about to see if Miller is rounding into the form we need from him. Two on and one out.

Miller, good pitching. I know the Dodgers can hit, but they look lost tonight. Hope they don’t break out of it until after tomorrow.

I feel bad for all of the children in attendance whom witnessed that Ozuna fielding folly…..they may never be the same again.

well think about this Pugsley. its a teachable moment. after that play, you just look at your kids and tell them that’s how you don’t catch a fly ball.

How did they score the Ozuna play? You can’t technically call it an error since the ball didn’t hit his glove. But if I’m the scorer, I give Marcell 2 errors on the play. One error for physically screwing it up and one error for mental misjudgment.

The Dodgers bullpen literally LOL’d at Ozuna’s folly.

I didn’t mind the bunt try, I do think it should be an error cause a good throw has him.

How did they score the Ozuna play?

The judges gave him low marks, a 4.7 I believe, for not sticking the landing. You’ll notices his head bounces back up upon impact.

Indeed Willie, but I think from an emotional standpoint, the children in attendance seeing with their very eyes the way Marcell, a grown man and supposed star athlete, do what he did on that defensive debacle, could scar them for life. It’s just not what grown men are supposed to do.

I don’t even think the Russian judges would give Marcell a generous 4.7 on that play, Euro…..even if Marcell was a fellow Ruskie. I’m thinking 0.3.

It was ruled a ground rule double.

If Flaherty can’t go more than 5. It appears that we’ll see Gallegos and Webb tomorrow for sure.

True Pugs, but Ozuna’s creativity was off the charts. The judges weren’t aware that a move like that could even be attempted, and gave him a few charity points to offset the abject failure that fans will be witnessing for years on replay.

But the good news is Ozuna is no worse for the wear other than a bruised ego and the Cards are now enjoying a winning steak. May as well take the series tomorrow.

You think Ozuna makes one of those blooper reels?

Glad we won! Let’s try for a series win but more importantly we need a good outing from Flaherty. I’m not talking no 100 pitch 5 inning 1 ER outing. Like can he make it through 6 innings at least?
