Dejong not able to move the runner over. It’s fundamentals that are hurting the Cards in this game so far. Three straight leadoff doubles, and they need to find a way to get a run in.
Goldy leads off the 4th with a 2-bagger, his second double of the night. That’s the 4h leadoff double in this game ….and we are still mired in a scoreless affair.
O’Neill beats out an infield single and the Cubs challenge it. It appears very close but I don’t see how they overturn it. And they don’t…the Cards still have some life here.

The Cards are going to need and offensive explosion (four consecutive hits) to score tonight. Either that, or Mikolas needs to hit a HR.
Mikolas has pitched such a good game. Shame to see these doubles go to waste. Looks like one run may win this

well its nice to see its still tied up. though here we have an error and a walk. not a good combination.
JMart has made a couple of plus defensive plays tonight. Also, on the one he bungled, it turned out to be a plus because he threw out Contreras trying to stretch an extra base out of it.
