It seems Walker has gone back to his favorite old swing – chasing low outside pitches.
June 14, 2026 at 2:49 pm #309893Blaze flashes some blazing quickness on his unassisted “Twin” killing at 1st base. Blaze had just replaced Burly at 1st in just the nick of time…..nothing against Burly’s defensive prowess.
June 14, 2026 at 2:50 pm #309894He has done that now and then the whole year, just not nearly as much.
June 14, 2026 at 2:50 pm #309895We need some insurance as our 3 runs will not be enough to gain victory in this one.
June 14, 2026 at 2:51 pm #309896I’ve only been tuned in the last 2 innings but the ump has done fine in my viewing time. She has done better than CB Bucknor
June 14, 2026 at 2:56 pm #309897Yeah Albert, she was only bad in the first inning aside from one bad miss later on. Otherwise, she’s been good.
June 14, 2026 at 2:57 pm #309898Bradley gets yanked with 2 out and 2 on here in the 7th, having accrued 101 pitches under his belt.
June 14, 2026 at 2:58 pm #309899Agreed, our home plate ump has been an absolute peach after her disastrous 1st inning……wow have never imagined me calling an ump a peach, but it is the 2020’s.
June 14, 2026 at 3:02 pm #309900JJ a wounded duck rbi over SS…..there’s a piece of insurance right there, but I certainly wouldn’t be adverse to a bit more.
June 14, 2026 at 3:02 pm #309901There’s our 8th challenge
June 14, 2026 at 3:05 pm #309902Banda your new Minnesota hurler. He walks Herrera to load em up. Burly now our DH batting with the bases bursting with Birds….and he flies out.
June 14, 2026 at 3:06 pm #309903Bullpen time.
June 14, 2026 at 3:10 pm #309904Unrelated , but I just want to point out that I always keep a watch list of prospects who I think may make the Majors and my list is the longest it’s ever been by quite a bit. I count 97 prospects. Typically, it’s around 60-70.
June 14, 2026 at 3:12 pm #309905Sweet…..would love to see your list and associated comments, Jnevel.
June 14, 2026 at 3:15 pm #309906Trouble is a simmering here in the Minnesota 7th with runners situated on the corners with 1 out and unfortunately Buxton strolling towards the dish….and he promptly singles in a run.
June 14, 2026 at 3:15 pm #309907This pen is so frustrating to watch.
June 14, 2026 at 3:16 pm #30990897 is a lot to comment on Pugs!
I guess 2 are still “prospects” by definition but are now in the Majors (Jordan & Torres – I believe Crooks has officially graduated). So call it 95 others with solid potential.
Not going well for Romero here. Buxton is killing us.
June 14, 2026 at 3:17 pm #309909And, a familiar scenario!
June 14, 2026 at 3:17 pm #309910Soriano coming in. He has been okay so probably the best bet to help get out of it without going to O’Brien but he has been struggling lately.
June 14, 2026 at 3:18 pm #309911Clemens singles to right to load the bases and these were not Romero’s finest moments as he’s getting rightfully yanked.

I would like to have some more guys like this. JFTR He is RED HOT.
June 14, 2026 at 3:19 pm #309913Hopefully Soriano has brought his A game today….we’ll find out soon.
June 14, 2026 at 3:23 pm #309914Well at least they get out of it tied as he could have been much worse. So frustrating though as this pen was lucky to begin the year and now the luck is really turning
June 14, 2026 at 3:23 pm #309915Phew!
Coulda been worse.
June 14, 2026 at 3:24 pm #309916Get this last batter keeping this score tied would be a sigh of relief….and a long fly to the track hauled in by Noot gives us just that. 4-4 heading to the 8th .
