    Well that movie was interesting i guess though ive never actually watched it. I dont really think it helped the A”s that much.

    We jnevel, ive already said i like weatherholt a lot personally. Now if hes the 10th best player in baseball or even 19th,then the whole league must be made up of less that great of players. So either those things ypu mentioned dont look at players the way i do which is probably true or we just have a high triple a league instead of a major league. Or maybe both are true.

    Au contraire! Over the eight-year period from 1999-2006, the A’s finished first five times and second the other three times. They didn’t do much in October, but they were very good for a long time with very low budgets. I think the setting for Moneyball was in about year three or four of that long run.
