And Stanek wants to make it a competitive game. Seems like he is pitching himself to a DFA

It’s lucky that baseball didn’t get by Walker and roll to the base of the RF wall.

They call them relievers. I don’t feel much relief when they come in this season.

Yeah, Jnevel, BP’s are almost always a dicey proposition. Even the good ones.

    The Bogsider from Derry, Wooster.

Soriano strands 2 with the backwards k.

In other news, Palm Beach won a nailbiter 17-2 tonight. Frankly, Stanek could have been trusted to save that one comfortably. They had a grand slam. Also a grand slam for Peoria tonight who is winning late.

I’d think the 2 likely candidates to take Stanek’s spot in the pen are Gastelum and Rajcic…I am good with either one….Stanek will give me an ulcer at this rate by the All Star break.

Remember all the jams Trevor Rosenthal got into?

Stanek is trying to do his TRII.

Herra had a luck out miss but couldn’t get his feet in overdrive-great effort though.

A Bogsider is someone from the Bogside neighborhood of Derry, in N. Ireland…O’Riley O’Brien…Haha!

O’Riley’s fastball sometimes appears to explode about 15 ft. from HP.

I’m not too worried about a dribbling infield hit Wooster. These guys look very uncomfortable hitting off O’Brien. He is nasty.

And he nails it down for the W!

It’s a winner! I’m really liking O’Beien closing. A lot of movement on the ball. Don’t wear him out!

The Bogsider from Derry is now 3-0 with 7 SV’s and hasn’t allowed a solitary ER in 13.1 IP’ed. He’s K’d 14 without handing over a BB. He’s been the key to this team’s success to date.

I’d take Trevor Rosenthal right now over Stanek, and I think Rosenthal hasn’t pitched in 3 years

Every time I take a look at the post-game show I expect to hear, “Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves”…
